jingle i have the 2 red diesel going and the 2 sweet tooth, they are doing quite well, one of the sweet tooth is a bit of a joke but i put that one into the all mix soil and the others are in the canna soil. ill have to show you guys the difference, that canna soil really is much better me thinks, ill always use it in future. its never stays dense and heavy like the all mix can. mine are also 5 days into flower, they are all female thank god. didnt top any as because there are lots of people saying barneys stuff will herm very easy and just want them to have a stress free life, not that im saying topping stresses them too much.
my next batch which is the laughing buddha will be going down next week. ill also be turning on the 600w dual so ill see how they like that. nice to see so many new guys on the site, it was quite for a while.
the 3 freebies i got are doing really well, will be interesting to see what they turn out like as i dont have a clue what they are. also not been on much cos the long veg time was very boring indeed.

doubt its worth selling singles in shops, mix and match variety packs could be interesting even if it was done with each breeder. Most online places to have pick and mixs.

We use a multi-ion meter from a cork based company called CleanGrow in ireland, www.cleangrow.com
You can measure and control individual nutrients, Ca, Cl, K, Na, NH4, NO3, Mg etc
Its the new way to grow

Check it out

ok lads newbie needs a bit of help...

so germinated 10 bag seeds i had lying around in ph correct water 2 days ago.. today 2 had fully split and were showing white root tips.. so iv transferred them into 2 small pots with very loose nutrient rich soil ment for tomato seedlings approx a half inch under the medium and lightly dampened the soil.. i now have the top of those pots covered with cling film to maintain moisture and have them sitting about 5 to 6 inches under a uv lamp...

am i doin this right or am im miles off... just wanted to get the hang of it with the bag seeds before my grow kit arrives and proper seeds..

cheers
dave

Try not to use soil that's to hot (rich) with seedlings as they just don't need it.. Covering it is a good idea but just leave them on a bright window sill..

The summer may return soon...

cheers man.. so they should break the surface so... will the uv help or is there no need for it?

One Hermie type killed, only one plant left. Still drying it to see what it tastes like as I'm not 100% sure it's Hermie but not taking the risk.

Theres no need for a uv lamp what so ever man, just leave them on a windowsill and when they sprout turn them daily. Seedlings tend to bend towards the light
