I'm not even gonna put pics of mine up, with the timer issue it's a fucking embarrassing disaster. Huge plants with little sad looking wispy buds. They'll be ready for Christmas at least and Iv the next batch of seeds growing but still.

Think I'll pick whichever of these I like the most and just clone, clone, clone Infuture.

Says it all in my journal...

I'm doing church, cheese, mazar kush, amnesia, northern lights x big bud and lemon skunk..

You don't really want to scrog 20 plants, kindda defeats the purpose.. Unless you have a screen the size of a football field...!

I could get away with 2 plants in mine but I like growing different strains..

you guys see the raid with the 400 plants, then the nacd comes out later and says that irish growers are growing weed that is much stronger than the shit thats imported. a load of bollox really which is just stiring up the pot when it comes to legalizing.
well done though if all the irish growers are growing some super weed!
pat on the back for everyone.

It's a load of bollocks to be honest...they call weed "grass" and strong weed "skunk". They also say people grow females cos they can't grow seeds. It goes on and on with the bollocks. I checked the references that they provide too, they're so shitty too, bad non-random sample groups leading to flawed conclusions. No actual quantative research...sorry I'm a nerd! Maybe someday we'll hire some actual scientists for the NACD.

I'd love to have the THC levels of my stuff tested tho.

Hey there folks, long time no post, been smokin my summer harvest which was a wopper success.my two phenos of early skunk tured out very different and i keep going back for more. :leaf:

A while ago a very generous forum member donated 6 random clones to me and im so very gratefull for that. This post is for that person to show how things have come along.

DSC_0162.jpg

Had them under a 150 enviro since i got them, flowering for the last week and today after replacing the fucked lamp holder and fuckin around with wiring and ducting etc i finally got them under a digi 400hps, theyre in the middle of the stretching phase now so when that calms down im gona groom the lower part of each of them.
excuse the runt in the tiny pot, dont have enough space to size him up to a bigger pot and im just curious to see how it fairs during the next two months.

Once again-
 THANK YOU FELLOW RIU MEMBER for donating these babies to me.

happy toking

Read that report the other day, made for some good afternoon reading!
There was another grow-warehouse found today in Delgany near Bray. Over 400 plants found and one man in his 30's was arrested.

Story lads, thought I posted here but it did'nt show up, sorry if it comes up twice,

First post in this thread, Im all set for my 1st grow at the moment but have a few quick questions that a little local knowledge would sort out.

First of all I'm early 20's, living at home and plan to grow in my shed so the mother doesnt have a canary. I'm going to grow 2plants in a secret jardin tent with a 250w HPS. Shed is insulated with carpet on the walls, not great but something all the same. So

1. Will the shed be 2 cold comin into winter for good growth?

2. Will the wooden shed be a fire hazard or should the lights and ballast be grand. It's a newish shed, no leaks.

3. Will the heat be suspicious to garda helicopter in the winter? Doesnt pass over regularly, once or twice a year

+ rep for all help, its very much appreciated.

Many thanks lads

How di and welcome along..

1. A shed is not the ideal place to grow during winter months.... Although if you made a MDF box around your tent and were in the vegging stage then the bulb would help you along, a heater is needed at the real bad times... Have your bulb come on for the night time as its colder then..

2. So long as you've mounted it away from water, I'd suggest mounting on the wall of the shed up away from the ground.. Also, the closest thing to the bulb should only be the reflector... nothing else..!!

3. I'm sure your shed will give off quiet a signature during the winter months but alot of things do... I have a tumble drier in my shed.. !!

Hope this helps..

Hello guys, I am new here. I was really amused to see such a great Irish presence.. 600 pages, WOW!

I am still new to the growing world, for some reason I am more attracted to the growing aspect than the use of the HOLY plan.
Also I have created a blog to track my progress on my quest to get the greatest veg harvest. here http://tinyurl.com/GrowBlogs

At the moment I am trying to locate some grow shops, and so for I have found one. I wont name the place, but its located on a pretty famous street and is packed with cameras which makes it a quite of a challenge to get a HUGE tent or a bag of sand from there.

I'll be starting HOPEFULLY next week. I know its going to be a huge challenge since its winter and may cost me 800 euros in total(without the E bill) but lets hope its worth it and everything will workout well.

One more thing, I am still looking for a legit source that provides veg seeds or clones

thanks
