Dude ive been dying to do it for ages, ive been looking at a guy on here del6666 and u would want to see the monsters that guy is running 12/12.so i have a big bud in the tent that i vegged for a week and been in the tent 12/12 for 2 weeks,looking sweet.

yeah been on del`s thread and had some chats with lads about it, but haven`t had the time to try yet, just wanted to get some weed in first, although now i can see how flawed that plan was...
the cfl`s got my foot in the door so now once harvest is in and the first few joints are smoked i have a feeling the missus will tow the line growing wise too, not that she grows but that she`ll let me....hee hee hee....

He has some monsters on his thread. Ill have to go back and read up again because mine getting a nice little size so should be starting nutes soon and not sure when to introduce the bloom nutes, probably just when i see pistols i suppose. Man im stoned. Back on the solid today. Picked up some lovely pollen today. Weird pollen, really really soft, not as soft as squidgy but u can still pick it off without burning and roll it a little. Not expensive either( 120 an oz)

Hey, I want to grow in my attic. Its a normal irish attic with beams and insulation. Is it a good grow spot. Also what things do I to grow and were can I get them in Ireland(lights,soil,nutrients and so forth) does that also depend on what weed I'm goin to grow.

alright dude, fellow attic grower here. Theres plenty of grow shops around. What area of ireland you from. If its dublin like myself you have it all on your door step but if your like poor old kang and some off the others apart from a couple of hours drive you can get everthing you need from irish websites that deliver, we all have our fav's. As far as the attic goes, you will need a tent or some sort of grow box to try and contain the temps a bit. It still gets pretty cold in the attic, my temps sometimes drop as low as 60. But still sweet for growing you can kinda tweek as you go, youll never be finished tweeking lol
again dude welcome, if you have any questions theres always someone here that can help you out. Good bunch of lads here.

Im from the west. Does the weed let off much odor from the attic, also how do I get all the stuff I need without other person in my house finding out, I want my grow to be covert( not the other person in my house finding out). So I cant get deliveries to the house. Would I be able to get all the stuff from a hardware shop?

welcome along sullieking, i`ve been forced up to the attic for the same reasons, the odour is very minimal as my attic is like yours just beams and insulation.
first thing you need to do is get some timbers either some pallet or ripped ply and fit it to the beams to give yourself a floor, or you will come through the ceiling....
then power up there, and plastic the floor or some kind of protection against leaking pots when you water up there, it can be done without the plastic but its a major pain in the ass as watering takes ages..
as jingle said temps can go either way, from too hot to too cold depending on the weather outside as most old roofs are passive vented anyways...

Alright wats sa stry horse..Ya I thought that myself, did you fix them permanently(nails or screws). Would I plastic the floor with the same shit that covers the insulation, that see through stuff? Will I need to get a thing to check the heat and humidity? My water tank is also up there will that make a difference?

the attic is a big spot, i screwed mine down as had no nails but they`d be fine too...
the plastic would want to be thick as you`ll be dragging pots across it and all, we say we won`t but it ends up you do, your water tank is prob more to one side of the attic than in the middle if you get me, so space won`t be an issue, my roof is small (its a bungalow) so end height was going to be an issue but they squezzed in there, if you know any builders they will prob have some 1000 gauge polythene laying about you will only need a couple of feet of it, and get a circulating fan aswell, not only will it help the air flow but help build strong stems...

Well I have like 2 attics, one at the top of my stairs in the roof and the other is the room next to it by screwing off a panel, that goes around the house as it is at the side but isnt that high. Were can I get all the stuff I need like the soil? (whats the best soil in Ireland to get for growing?) What type of lights should I get iswell? Also does the fan make much noise cause I dont want the person in the house finding out at all, cause if they do I'll have to get rid of them haha joke joke dont call the cops. Sorry for all the questions

without the questions we can`t learn...
sounds like a crawl space your talking about or a sub attic, either way as long as there stealthy you`ll be fine, fans can be got cheap or expensive the quieter ones are the expensive ones, soil can be anything you can afford and manage, compost is the easiest and most forgiveing nute wise etc....
then theres coco and hydro its up to you really, growing can be as easy or hard as you make it yourself, if you want to stay stealthy and get it right first time, spend some time reading here and save your cash and get the right gear in the one go.... get yourself toa grow shop and get going....
only my two cent from my experience, as you can see from previous pages, i grew mine with cfl in soil, smokey grew in hydro under 400w hps, he has alot bigger yeild.....
