The Irish Growers Thread!

could you be a bit more specific please.....? i know georges street pretty good and i never noticed ..... wait do you mean that power shop? i saw them sell some grow tents one time

welcome along anyways, you`ll get seeds up there no problem, what lights you planning on? cfl or hps?

i can`t dude, i`m not from dublin, but i thin its there, if they sold tents then they prob do sell seeds, google nirvana ireland
 
i am planning on getting cfl, since they produce a quieter sound than hps. I am still planning it out so i am not 100 percent sure yet to be honest

honestly, cfl`s are great for veg, nice healthy lush green plants with tight nodes but disapointing for flower..... trust me...

bahahahahahahahaaha........ the A.F.P might have the resource`s to follow every stoner that buys seeds, but buddy the Garda even if they did, couldn`t give a shit about a lad growing two or three plants....


now go in and order 5 600w hps and a load of gear and you`ll find the garda watching you...



now in the smoke you might have the worry of the flir a bit more but thats about it, and nirvana are a good place too buy, if the cops are watching them i`m fucked...;)

ah man.... hahahaha don`t really count on me for help, or listen to the advice i disperce.... its mostly a guess or a bad atempt to diagnose a problem..

but i`m more than happy to chew the fat and have a laugh and shit..;) ...

there are fortunately plenty of lads on here that know what ther doing. if you want answers and tips hang about the thread in the morning or that being sunday in the afternoon and the guys will prob be on then..
 
as for tips... fill in a few blanks, what medium are you going for, soil is forgiveing for over or under feeding and watering etc, coco improves yeild but some say you loose some of the taste, then hydro which drasticly up`s the yeild.....etc

lights, cfl, hps, led

strains choosen etc...
 
so i planned to go and check the hps light tomorrow and give my luck a try on getting my hands on some seeds.
I am going with the coco soil, so far I know where to get them from and have a suitable tub for the grow. Also got several tutorials on the side.
About the vent system, i got all sorted.

Where are you living dude, plenty ofplaces to get seeds in Dublin, but i prefere to buy mine on Attitude seed bank.

Yeah you would get them in nirvana, dont be worried about the garda, i was like that when i started going in to the shops, once you get rid of that Paranoia its grand. Theres a place in Glasnevin Industrial est. just up from woodies, it used to be called bloomand grow, but thats out of the way and you dont have to worry about people seeing you going in.
 
Has any one any experience with bloom boosters like big bud or bloom candy orany of them. Wouldnt mind trying one for the last couple of weeks

Asked a mate who helped when I was starting about Bud Candy and he said molasses did the same thing at fraction of the cost.
Lot of comparisson tests done too. Google big bud v molasses
