hi all yet another noob question i have one auto mazar under a 125w cfl will switch to to 150 hps bout gettin rid of heat and smell idea 1 duct thru my my attic and outside thru a unused flue powered by a lil pc fan or idea 2 the same idea but with a decent 4in fan carbon filter kit as cash is an issue which should i do cos i never grown anything before i have no idea how stinky it will be is the filter kit a bit much. will the pc fan pull enuf out to control odour.any input welcome cheers

plump like i said before you wont have a heat issue with only 150watt so dont worry about that at all, second you need a little fan blowing on the plant, i used a pc fan when i started to grow but only grew one plant and they are not much good, i now have a 4in clip-on fan and i have a 4in carbon filter/fan and i dont use it as it makes a serious noise like having a vacuum running in the grow room, i sugest with the tiny light your using to look into other ways to deal with smell,

just today i took mandys advice and put a few drops of olbas oil on a paper towel and hid it above a cabinet and my whole house stinks of olbas now, theres other buckets of stuff you can get for smell but really you will only want to grow 1 maybe 2 plants under such a small wattage light and you should be able to deal with that smell rather than ducting everywhere, if that air is not cleaned and your pumping smelly air around you could make the problem alot worse

told you that stuff is strong hehe,, but it really does a good job,and no more sniffley noses lol

i chopped one down just over week 8 and its nice and purple ,the main bud its so fat and round looks very nice so i hope it doesent lose to much wen its dry,, the other has me baffelled its still growing new pistols but now the leaves are turning purple too, i would chop but every day new little buds grow over the others and getting more on the top too so im keeping her going,,it has a mix of colours orange green purple and white,, its amazing ill try get a pic later with a good light

Defo no light leaks. I'm a bit puzzled.
I just picked the few balls off and il keep goin for now.
i use an iPad and can't figure a way to post pics

thanks 420 i have a 6 icn clip on fan a pc fan in and pc fan out heats grand and not bothering with carbon filter have fuck loads of insense and oils and got the olabis oil no smell yet but my auto mazar flyin now cheers

i have a 125w cfl and its 25 lights on 18 lights off and i have tryed the 150hps i growning in a ds60 in a wardrobe in a room how come my temp this heat with cfl

They look great mandy you could chop anytime but by the looks of the pics i would wait until theres more brown hairs before chopping but depends how bad you need smoke lol what type of soil are you using?

hay kang,, i choped the other one a few days ago so that will keep me going,, before i switched to 12/12 about a week ago almost all the hairs where wer red but since the switch theres more little buds growing and now its covered in white???????????? very strange... dam scope cant find it anywhere.soil is growwise with extra newts and lots of perlite..

the other one is loosin its mass big time,, very flimzy and light buds..not too happy bout that but the taste is sweet.. fruity weedy is the only way to discribe.. nun of that earthy taste to it witch is a shame coz i luv that..but i cant complane.. i think this one will do better ,the bud structure is different and looks tight,,the one that was chopped was under cfl so that might be why buds are shit.

mandy why did ya switch too 12-12 i taught autos are 18-6 from start too finish im confused:confused:

Ive only heard bad things about putting autos on 12/12 mandy, they say it makes the bud airy and light, some people put them in from seed at 12/12 which they say is ok but its not good to cut down the hours on an auto
