Hi guys, Tea ? love the stuff Coffee too, my fav tea is SCOTTISH BLEND, don't know if you guys across the water get that but its a good brew. On a growing note, done a bit of bending and tying on my Northern Lights tonight, trying every trick in the book to keep the height down, before Ive treated weed like some sort of untouchable god like plant not to be messed about with but I'm beginning to realised the Northern Lights at least is a tough bugger , you can bend it tie it, mould it to your required shape and as little as an hour later the branches are poking straight up pointing at the light, PS thanks for all the help and advice you Irish dudes have gave me for weeks now, top folk, top thread.

Just mainlined 2 Northern Lights and Laughing Buddhas and the NL's were a way easier to deal with regards topping and LST. Just forms a lovely bushy plant.

took me awhile to "get it" about the myth`s to growing weed, theres alot to it when you get into the biology of the plants and the more expensive methods of growing with the ppms and ph ìng etc but it can be as simple as plant seed and hang a light.. the end result being the reason we play with them and upgrade the methods of growing and so on ....

you should try cropping or supercropping, its great if you want to open the plant out a bit and let light penetrate further down, works really well with a topped plant as said before...

the buddha`s not takeing to it pad? you get much difference in your canopy after topping, mine just shot up while the other bushed out perfect..

They were a nightmare. Think it's because they are high Sativa but I found them a pain to deal with compared to the Northern Lights.

Have a Laughing Buddha clone on 12/12 too. Didn't bother topping it and its formed a fairly impressive main cola compared to the multiple flower sites on the mainlined girls. At the moment it seems to be performing a lot better considering it could be anything up to 8 weeks younger.

would the mainlineing not take that long to recover from considering its probably one of the severe ways to train ..... if that makes sence to you pad, think the genes are showing through on the clone, they say good genes just seem to clone better...

I knew I was going for a 10 weeks veg so it didn't bother me time wise but don't think it adds so much over all. Probably 2 or 3 weeks I'd say. With the Northern Lights next round plan on haveing them mainlined for 8 tops and flipped 12/12 in 7 weeks. Thats the plan anyway...

Ive got 2 Barneys Laughing Buddha grows under my belt, and one of them, jeez, don't know if it was just circumstances and luck, but I swear it was the best weed I ever grew, this stuff for the couple of months the stash lasted was legendary, although on here Im Mr Average, the sharing of this stuff got me a bit of cred and kudos with both the old hippy and the med crowd here. Second Laughing Buddha grow turned out to be decent but average, but I reckon its got the potential to be a great fun smoke.

what you just said was why i quit smoking... i haven't smoked properly since 2008. i accept the odd smoke every now and then but barely more than a few tokes... i grow now because i want to invigorate once again the magic that once was smoking some weed.. i started back when hash (shitty soap bar now i look back) was the only available shit. growing it personally is such an experience..

i say this because smoking some spliff with mates should always be more than just to pass the time... I don't mean to sound mean at all but the joy of fogging on should always outweigh the "just to bleugh it.." A party of at least 5 people smoking on is faaaaaar more enjoyable than rolling a sleepy aloney joint... not that i have anything against it. not at all. but to state to smoke to pass the day and have a similar chill to the eve.. doesn't sound appealing..

then again. i literally did the same thing til i quit... i'm only growing because i hold a precious part in my heart for cannabis.. and i hope growing myself will lead to new appreciation..

see thats the difference between a habitual user and a casual one, i have to smoke weed to get through the day, partly yes as i smoke spliffs alone and partly as to my addictive personality....
