I'd love to be there now, hopefully before the year is out. A gram of quality bud would go a long way, that and a few strong Dutch beers and happy days.

not for the beer for me, can`t drink the stuff at all... just end up in a heap in the corner fogging it.. now shorts, them i can drink, well did drink ...

Long time no see boys,

been busy and ive kicked soil and coco out the window and got myself an oxy-pot and submersible pump and went with advanced nutrients line up for an all out hydro war! only doing one plant from now on cause if hydro works and i get a few oz's to keep myself from giving money to dealers i wont need too much weed or a bunch of plants as i dont sell

veg i have

AN sensi grow A&B
AN B52
AN voodoo juice
H202

bloom i have

AN sensi bloom A&B
AN B52
AN big Bud
H202

i had a girl almost ready to flower in coco and decided to take it out and put it in hydro, wasent easy washing off all the coco without breaking the roots, and for the first 24 hours it was fell over and looked like it was dead but after drinking some voodoo juice she has perked up and looking good, the roots are through the net pot and another week veg and she will be going into flower, have the ec at 0.8 right now but i think ill rise it to 1.0 at first week of flower, any tips from hydro guys welcome,

good to see everyone still around! might get pics later but theres not much to see just yet

Man is waiting for your plants to properly start budding really boring. I, as a new grower, am tempted to feed them a good bit of bloom nutes, In hopes of jump starting the flowering process. Now i'm not going too because i fed them full strength nutes just 4 days ago. and feeding them now would be a bad idea, just a bit of watering is in order. Is this where noobs usually accidentally overfeed their plants and burn the crap outta them, because of impatience? I ask this because i've seen quite a few grow journals of new growers where they do fine during the veg period and then fuck it up during flowering.. I was wondering why...

Its because people think you can rush em with bloom nutes. they wi not grow faster.

honestly, just mark days off the calendar. if you watch them it goes slower.

have no fear tho, time flies once the buds start forming.

i do this for part of my living so its second nature to me (the waiting). honestly, occupy yourself with something else. you probably dont need to water more than 1 time per week. a quick checkup every few days is more than god.

i understand its hard the first time. let the feeling pass completly.

i am lucky, im mr pateince. always have been. I wait until stuff is fully ready to harvest, i wait until its just right to switch to flower. ive always been famous for patience. its a highly valuable skill in growing.

and if you are really going to presue organics, be aware that they dont go any faster, and while organics are unlikely to cause nute burn (my new shit will, gaia green powerbloom, only available in canada) addin to much is a waste. always follow the recomended dose (or less, mandalas are super nute sensitive).

be careful cloudy, you dont want to do something you will regret. to much nutes can cause permanant damage ir even death

Don't worry man i can wait. and i only pointed it out because i can feel the temptation. one i'm easily going to ignore because i'm more read up on things and know that nuting the fuck outta it will do far more harm than good.

Have a good afternoon my irish friends. its wakey wakey time for me. i gotta get outta bed.

i might head into town to eat at the diner. ive been doing that alot latley. the young lady i spend the occaisional evening works there and im dieing for some hashbrowns.

altho if i head into another town right away, i can go to a asianjoint and get xoi. its vietnamese sticky rice breakfast.

my ex is from vietnam. its her breakfast. bitch, she got me hooked. i literally have to have xoi once a week. ill litterally have a withdrawl wothout it. and i might turn to heroin to deal with the cravings...

lol just kidding, but xoi is really good. you guys probably wouldnt be to exposed to it, but vietnames cuisine is everywhere here in canada.

id still choose boxty or stew over vietnamese food. but that shit is good

Its vietnamese sticky rice fried with chicken, shrimps and mushrooms. they have lost of different versions. its a fantastic breakfast before a hard day of work. i really like the stuff.

its heavy if you arent working tho. its like the peasant rice farmer dish. if you dont work hard, its way to heavy for breakfast.

bueaty of xoi is it lasts until about dinner. i skip lunch completly.

i gotta heard cattle today. im doing the xoi. forget hashbrowns. i gotta move the whole heard to the next pasture over, fresh grass.

hearding cattle is alot of work. at least i can borrow the neibors dog, or ask the kid a few farms down if he wants to make 100 bucks today. ill have to pay him outta pocket, but hes good. none ever escape when he heards (ive helped him before).

Well, locking the door now. my phone dosent get great reception on the highway, and i wont be back until later. ill probably check it at my favorite rest stop, but have a great day guys. id wish everyone the same in irish, but not everyone speaks it, so i wish a good day.

Hi guys! Havent posted on this in a while. Just an update for you lovely folks!

My journey has come to an end! chopped her down yesterday and it took me 14 hours to trim her all! Sampled some scissor hash and i mean it was hardly any of it on my small scissors but what little bit there was i tried and OMG it got me high as fuck! i havent somked in two months so maybe it affected me more but would the hash be anything to go by? if so it was amazing and so damn sweet. tasted like honey on my lips

Anyways here are the pics for the final day of the plant. I noticed that only the bottom of the roots were brown and affected. the rest looked amazingly healthy. Perhaps the roots in the top chamber was what caused the root rot. The buds are pretty small and there is only about 4 average sized stalks as a result of the slow growth and early harvest. Enjoy guys :D

She's under hps at the min for veg but my master plan is to have her under the led in flower, but the led light is very strong and you need the plant to have dark strong leaves for it to survive under led so if all gos well and i get her eating well and leaves darken up ill switch over to led's,

heres a couple of pics, few old problems in the older leaves from when it was in coco, ive found with coco i just couldent give it enough cal-mag the coco was destroying mag and giving none to the plant lol, the very tips of the new growth is slightly yellow colour like i am just on the border of overfeeding but i dont know much about hydro so if any hydro heads about like iamaaror please chime in! also i ph to 5.6 but it gos to 6.0 in a few hours and stays at 6.0 so everyday i ph it back to 5.6 anyone know why it stays at 6.0 and should i just leave it there?

the plant incase anyone is interested is afghan kush x black domina
