I mean don't use Internet explorer it is not secure. It just runs whatever scripts you tell it to.

I think thats what my computer came with, what happens if you use it? What does running scripts do? I don't understand. What would it do different if I had something else?

To put it in short, if you use firefox, chrome, safari, or opera..or anything else..your less likely to get viruses, malware, trojans or have your computer hacked or identity stolen. Your also less likely to have said malware or Trojans obtain escalated privileges or have the same impact as they would.

Your also less likely to have any issues with sites, even little small issues. I have worked with people for a long time on technical issues only to find out they are using Internet Explorer and then upon switching their problem is immediately resolved.

We don't test anything for internet explorer..across my six monitors I have all the other browsers running when I am testing a site but not Internet Explorer...a lot of technicians are the same way, we completely forget that it exists sometimes.

They don't ....they don't even come from china..Parts are from all over but Korea and Thailand are the main ones. Due to flooding in Thailand right now hard drive prices have skyrocketed, its going to be like this for another year so hold off on buying a hard drive.

Well to be honest I never really payed it that much attention, I can say I have never ordered any parts from china and almost every time I have noticed it is Thailand, Korea, Or Japan..Pretty much all of monitors these days are from South Korea and all hard drives and ram are from Thailand. I am 100% certain they can not take control of our computers from something done at the manufacturer level.

Running scripts can get you clickjacked, or download/install trojans behind your back, stealing banking and other online info (to be brief). I suggest running Firefox with the addon NoScript.
