The problem with our foreign policy is it is based on interventionism, "world police" if you will. The middle east problem would not have been such an issue if we and other colonial powers had behaved differently years ago.this was officially just an extra benifit of the attack on iraq
i mean bush is so honest he couldnt even keep his lips shut about it
remember he said:
"There are some who, uh, feel like that, you know, the conditions are such that they can attack us there.
My answer is: bring 'em on.
but this wasnt the trigger on why we invaded iraq but surely a great plus for what an attack could do for us
the liberls love to forget that al zarqawi the leader of al queda in iraq who was running around pesonally cutting peoples heads off on national tv
ya that guy, came to iraq under saddam wounded from afghanistan and got top notch treatment at a state hospitol in Iraq who only caters to important government bathists
he then was allowed by saddam to opperate in the north of Iraq with his terrorist group under the cover name of "ansar al islam"
this was a front for al queda in iraq
after we snapped up all saddams goons ansar al islam came outa the closet as al queda in iraq and killed most of the iraqi's who died that some liberals like to blame your own government for. but worse than that, they put that over the heads of our brave soildiers
why do you think we took so long to enter falluja??
we let the city fill to the brims with these cowards and uneducated religiously brain washed bastards and let hell fire rain down upon them
each kill was a life saved times who knows how many of probably women and children and inocents
and people degrade our troops' great triumph with rhetoric purly partisan
that coupled with the fact that saddam was defying sanctions for over ten years and playing like he had wmds to scare iran, and at the same time refusing the weapons inspectors,
we had no choice after the vicious attack on our land. in 2001 to say for our benifit and the benifit of all peace loving people in Iraq we have to act
then just to be extra nice we offered saddam to leave the country with his sons and we wouldnt attack. he refused
Occupation of foreign lands by the U.S. military is always going to have unintended consequences. Sadaam was a brutal dictator, no doubt, but if there were no oil in the middle east he'd scarcely warrant a tsk tsk.
