Thanks for all the advice guys. No hard feelings at all lol. It's my first time and I take all advice. I'm from San Diego Ca so I gotta make good bud lol

But

Yes I kind of panic and put a lot of holes, thinking i was over watering, then I just got crazy -__- they looked the same this morning when I checked them. There about gone. But stem still holding up so I'm not giving up yet.

I'm just going to put them in new red cups, with proper drainage, new soil and see if they come back ? Or is that too sudden and just kill them for sure ?

If the upper growth is dead, it won't come back. It sucks, but as long as you gained knowledge... good luck, cheers

It happens and yes dumme is right. All is not wasted when knowledge is gained. When I started out I thought if I took the shells off the top of the seedlings before they popped off that the seedlings would get light to the cotyledons quicker....lol, what I did manage to do was pull the whole top of the seedlings heads off... This is idiotic but I did it and I did gain some knowledge that day I can tell you.

You are spraying the top of the soil but inside it's totally dry. My theory, while roots were close to the top it was doing well, but as soon as roots reached the dry part of the soil they dried out. When you water first time you need to saturate soil with water and only then spray water as top dries out.

I use FF Ocean & had the same problem on my first plant because apparently FF doesn't do so well in those small cups, to hot I think.
someone turned me on to this & it is working great for me!
Fill a 3gal pot with FF Ocean, then saturate it (with RO water ph'd to 6.5)until you get runoff. Wait 24hrs & then place the germinated seed directly into pot, cover it & pour a shotglass of water over it. Poor a shotglass of water over it once a day until it sprouts & then repeat this for 3-4 more days, & then start watering with about 1/2 gal every 4 days or so. Don't even think about adding nutes for at least 2-3weeks

Since they have been growing day 1 I've watered 2 times a day. Once in the morning before work 5-6 sprays with a water bottle, and once at night time, just a couple sprays at night.

2 days ago when I noticed the drooping I added more drainage holes to all cups. Added some water and just kept moving along thinking they get better. Yesterday, they looked a little bit worse. I then changed some of the soil in each solo cup. Not different soil, same Fox Farm Ocean Soil.

I'm just not sure how to water them at this point. More water or less?
Watering twice a day!?!?!? Your definitely overwatering!! Do not water again until they dry to where they feel very light when u pick up the cup. U may have killed them. Try to dry the humidity in the grow space and put a fan on them. DO NOT BLAST THEM. a very light breeze is what they need. Next time you shouldnt have to water for at least 4 days after very first watering in solo cups. I just transplanted into 3 gallon pots and didnt have to water for 10 days on a few plants and they couldnt be healthier

Edit: you dont have to spray them. Plant the seed, water it thoroughly w plain ro water, and leave it alone for a week. Youll be surprised what happens

That reminds me of something I saw once, a automatic drip system called Daisy.Si. $25 EU.
The cool part about the cars today is they build the wiper pump right into the wiper res and it all comes out with one small bolt. Once the thing is cleaned up it would be ideal for when you can't be there. I'll bet you that I can go down to the junkyard and Bill would give me the right one for about $10, $30 for a real nice one from a newer write off...with hose.

You may have been overwatering but I've got this feeling that a watering was missed and they went dry. Those little cups do dry out quickly.

Perhaps next time go with a half gallon pot or larger. The next time soak the soil in the plant pot before you plant and soak and add soil until the plant pot is full of soil to the rim. Be sure that the plant pot is slightly elevated from the water catcher(s) to avoid water from pooling at the base of the plant pot.

It truly is very hard to damage a young plant by watering twice a day in a solo cup.

UPDATE!!!!!

So since they all looked a bit dead I removed them from the soil. And discovered something !! The roots were huge!! They were at least 3-4 inches! They weren't getting any oxygen. So solo cups too small.

2 out of the 6 are going to be ok! Transplanted into half gallon pots using same soil FFOS. Now after this transplant, one good water then leave for couple days?!

I'm glad you're getting some back. But, those little plants were not rootbound. If they weren't getting oxygen it was due to overwatering.

My theory is: They got too much oxygen. I believe you underestimated the roots, let it get too dry for too long (moistening only the surface?), the roots went crazy searching out water -- and the plant(s) gave up the ghost through exhaustion. (Then you flooded them.).

Just my theory.

Yea that's probably what I should do. Just transplant them 5 gallon now. Just wanted to get them out of those cups and in bigger pot for now.

I watered every day but just the top. Probably not enough water and no room to row. Underestimated to the max!
