I take care of 3 disabled people (my family) everyday, 24/7. I feel successful when at the end of the day, no one's hungry, no one's scared, and if I've made anyone's pain go away even for a minute, I'm a fucking rockstar as far as I'm concerned. I just don't understand the attachment to material goods. In my personal situation, we're just thankful for what we have at the end of the day. Never had much growing up, and certainly don't need it now. I think my "crowning achievement" will be when I finally get the girls into a wheelchair accessible house. Then we'll be successful and content. (I know, I know. Sob story, but it's my story. lol) TL
R - I'm a minimalist and just want my tribe to be happy, safe, and pain free.
