In America there are two political parties, but there are not two equal sides in truth, or reason, the other side has no real arguments or policies. One side stands with the US constitution and the other wishes to destroy it. A classic rule of thirds, one third wants to destroy the country for the sake of power, another third wants to protect the constitution and rule of law and a final third are standing around in moral and intellectual confusion over a simple matter.

Ex-coal CEO who called himself ‘Trumpier than Trump’ launches Democratic Senate bid in West Virginia
A former CEO of a coal company who once said he is “Trumpier than Trump” has launched a bid for Senate as a Democrat in West Virginia.

Don Blankenship, who previously ran for the Republican nomination for the seat in 2018 but lost, filed his candidacy Friday for the seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Joe Manchin (D), according to a filing on the West Virginia secretary of state office’s website.

After then-President Trump endorsed Blankenship’s two primary opponents for the 2018 race over him, Blankenship had responded in a social media post saying, “As some have said I am Trumpier than Trump, and this morning proves it.”

National Republicans pushed back against Blankenship’s candidacy in 2018 as the controversial former CEO was running on an anti-establishment track. Blankenship served a year in prison after being found guilty of conspiracy to violate mine safety regulations following an explosion at one of his coal mines that killed 29 workers.

He told local West Virginia-based outlet WV News in an interview that he switched his party affiliation to Democratic eight months ago or more. He argued that the GOP “violated their party” and pushed false stories about him during his initial Senate run.

“They put out stories that were false, but the most important thing to me is this drug epidemic in West Virginia is not being addressed by the Republican Party, and neither are the problems in the country,” Blankenship said.

He told the outlet that he is running for Senate again to help West Virginians realize that “our enemy is the government and politicians, and which party you’re in doesn’t really matter.”

“The government is American’s worst enemy, and they are in fact destroying America while we’re being led to believe that there’s a fight between the left and right going on, when in fact it’s the government destroying us,” he said.

The Hill has reached out to Blankenship for further comment.

Blankenship also ran for president in 2020 as the nominee for the right-wing Constitution Party.

With Manchin’s retirement, Republicans are seen as likely to pick up his seat in the November elections. West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice, a former Democrat who switched his party affiliation in 2017, is the front-runner for the GOP nomination for the seat, but he is being opposed by Rep. Alex Mooney (R).

Make them say Trump lost in 2020 and is an asshole! Ask if they support a pardon for Trump. He should be convicted by election day, probably sentenced too. It is the performance of the GOP house that should hurt them the most. Provided people vote based on facts and not on their self-important whiteness.

The border like so much else is just an excuse for white people, they need more of them to vote for these clowns with each passing week. Trump runs them leading up to the election and he will want a government shutdown before the election because he's an idiot! The frightened souls are being invaded by people who can't vote, want to work and there is a labor shortage in America of jobs suited for them, green cards and some tacking are required, not panic. White Amerca needs a reason and an issue and are grasping at straws, Mexicans aren't the issue as prosperity has spread to there, it is migrants from politically unstable countries in south and central America. This is an issue Biden can address at the source in his second term with a democratic congress at his back.

The best way to defeat them in 2024 is to divide them and Trump is the best agent of division there is, and he will be desperate, irrational and panicking from now until he is convicted and finally put in a cage. It will be the Whitehouse or the big house and that is how the press will frame it.

American politics went from issues and facts normal politics to whatever demigod or propaganda organization can brainwash and bamboozle the most frightened white sheep. Donald their shepherd is leading them while his sheep dogs are driving the flock over a cliff to their destruction like lemmings. Bah, Bah Donald cries as they draw ever closer to the edge while on the run in a blind panic, it is not just Donald panicking, those who follow him are driven by fear too with those sheep dogs nipping at their heels driving them onward to their doom. It is fear and loathing that unites them into a herd and from those base feelings spring hate and above all else stupidity.

How He Changed the Face of American Politics | Peter Zeihan

In this insightful video, we delve into the profound impact Donald Trump has had on American politics, particularly focusing on the emergence and dominance of new political factions. Trump's presidency mobilized a significant voter base, previously disengaged, reshaping the Republican Party and altering the political landscape. This shift has led to unions and the business community becoming swing voters, a phenomenon not seen in over a century.

The video also explores the growing influence of the Hispanic population in the United States, particularly Mexicans, who are rapidly integrating into American society. This demographic shift is reshaping the cultural and economic fabric of the nation, with implications for language use, market dynamics, and workforce development.

Furthermore, the discussion touches on the challenges and opportunities in the tech industry, especially concerning AI and chip manufacturing. The scarcity of critical components like AI chips is driving inflation and forcing strategic decisions in various sectors, from electric vehicles to server farms.

Lastly, the video highlights the potential for significant economic and industrial growth in Mexico, driven by its increasing value addition and productivity, which surpasses that of many other nations, including China. This growth, however, comes with its own set of challenges, including inflation and the need for skilled labor.
