Okay so could you grow hydro dwc, hempy, w/e and use just water in the tank then use foliar feed for nutrients?
Would love to see someone try it.

LOL. But I can't agree with the Calcarb statement, but I'm horribly bias against AN.**i always foliar w/ some loud amazon jungle sounds of rain/birds ..<3 calcarb
*RTI (Xtreme) makes decent additives, calcarb-azos are my favsLOL. But I can't agree with the Calcarb statement, but I'm horribly bias against AN.
edit: nevermind good sir, I had a brainfart and got my product names mixed up. Calcarb huh? That reminds me that I have a bag of that sitting unopened in a tote in my basement. May have to give it a shot one of these days, I've been very pleased with Xtreme's other products so far.
*less, but yes on the dish soap (try dr.bonners )Question - Why 1/4 of dish soap in spray?
What is the reason for soap??*less, but yes on the dish soap (try dr.bonners )
I use folar for my dwc, works fine so far nice n bushy in veg how they should be!Okay so could you grow hydro dwc, hempy, w/e and use just water in the tank then use foliar feed for nutrients?

That's fine, but do not substitute foliar feeding for feeding at the roots. One of your post said that you foliar feed 1 hour before they wake up. What if I do not have that option? Would foliar feeding 1-2 hours before they go to sleep be an issue?
So is there NO value in this technique? Yes the roots absorb BY FAR more than the leafs... What about when it rains in nature? Explain Uncle Ben.. I know you have alot of knowledge to explain...After years of gardening, I've rethunk my view of foliar feeding or using it to correct nutrient disorders. There is no art to foliar feeding and no real value compared to uptake by the roots. This busts the myth regarding the value of foliar feeding, where "it" all started, etc.

Foliar spray if you have a deficiency. If you do, then there's something wrong with your root system, soil, nutrient solution. Does that make sense? So is there NO value in this technique? JUST A THOUGHT......................
Kind of like marijuana being a schedule 1 drug because it has NO medical Known uses but the U.S. Government holds a Patent for cannabinoids for pharmaceutical applications not related to smoking it....
Totally agree... Great for fixing deficienciesFoliar spray if you have a deficiency. If you do, then there's something wrong with your root system. Does that make sense?
There is no substitute for root uptake. Nutrient salts are indigenous to the soil, not the air.

This is fast becoming my fave for micro deficiencies. You can buy out of Florida. I got a couple of pints free from Home Depot....with a grin and a smile. http://www.southernag.com/docs/labels_msds/chcitr.pdfTotally agree... Great for fixing deficiencies
Whoever said you have to have the lights off? I can see thousands of farmers who foliar feed their crops spraying their fields in the dark LOL.Hi on and all.. I tried a sample of Liquid-Light : foliar feed and have to say the leaves loved it... its weird because you apply the spray WITH THE LIGHTS ON !! you mix the LL with an applicator..which opens up little holes in the leaves.. then the LL does its thing and allows the leaves to intake more light etc and speeds up the process of photosynthesis. My lady loved it and I will defo be using it again upon my next grow - STELTHY
