The mad scientist in me at it again

One day I'm going to discover groundbreaking things. This time it's in hopes of a world class flush/cure.

My newest idea is to take an outdoor plant at time of harvest out of the bucket, rinse off the roots and get as much dirt out as possible. The next step is to soak the roots in deionized water. I have a friend who has convinced me D/I water actually sucks out nutrients and is not good for drinking long term because it actually pulls them out of you. Maybe he's right, maybe he is wrong; but, he made a valiant argument. Also, an air stone to keep things fresh. Prop plant up, set in sun 1-3 days; changing water every day. Then into a dark room for 1-3 days ; same water routine. Cut and harvest as usual. Of course the length will be determined by performance.

Any input? Am I out of my mind? You should see the way Grenhouse cures. Cut entire plant no trimming just manageable branches and goes into a box looks like a cardboard box and seal it.

Haha, they just do that to take it somewhere to dry and manicure. They don't do it in the same room or building even. If they were to put them into boxes, green to cure, they would rot.
