you have to go by the shape of the preflowers...what i mean is, 5days or so is about right bc i dont need pistils to confirms its a female. you can tell by the flower, especially using a 30x microscope....one can def tell within 5 days

Sorry but I haven't seen a strain that will show sex in 5 days of 12/12 so young. I just ran some Hawaiian seeds with just 10 days veg, a little over 8" tall, nothing showed sex in less than 10 days, Duc-foot Indica took almost 20 and one Thai sativa strain took 59 days to show, I got one of each.
Males show quicker then the females. Those only take 4-5 days for me and the females usually take 7-9 days for me. 10 days seems to be a little early and honestly 8 inches from a plant that has only been above ground for 10 days (if that's how ur counting veg time) sounds a little exaggerated. Maybe at most they'd be working on a 3rd or 4th node if ur lucky.

you want to wait untill for 6-7 true nodes before force sexing them....eliminating males and topping all the way to second node and continuing to veg them while training

great thread and digging the technique for sure. It reminds me of when I first got started and tied everything down, I swear my yields were better back then as well lol

this thread is smokin

Great thread, I finished going through it. Much love NugBuckets and everyone else that posted and answered questions, I think something that would help with the questions is an actual mock drawing of a plant with steps when to cut which node and have chronological pictures, either way great thread really, its cool to be among all of you RIU.

Thank you....your avatar is beautiful by the way!.....welcome......myself, and a few Nerd's are in the process of documenting the Main-Lining process and philosophy in a very detailed manner, and working on getting it published (in a very special place)....it seems to be taking the growing world by storm, and we are very excited to get it out to the growing public as soon as we possibly can....hold tight, and stay tuned!....nugs

Well, I dropped a fan on one of my plants and it somehow perfectly topped one of the heads so now I'm doing a 17 headed plant. I think I might pinch one of those growths off.

ahahah that sucks somewhat, its going to be behind the rest, you might as well just take that whole cola off, or let chop all of em for 32, which would be BADASS

TBH 16 is a is a pain already, 32 I would do outdoor only. 8 is where it's at indoor, I think that's the # I am sticking to.

yeah its one less cola, but i think the buds are going to be just a tinsy bit fatter, and yeah 8 is probably best for indoors I'm going to try for 16 on one and 8 on another, 16 only because it already has 4 heads, and I'm just tying it down

I did 16 because I read somewhere that it was shorter and I have very limited hight issues. IDK I'm just gonna pinch one of the new growths off as soon as I can fit my fingernails in there. That way it's still directing that energy to just 1. Lights are out now so I'll do all of this when they turn on. thanks a lot gang. I've got a 16 and an 8 in there. The 8 was started 2 weeks after the 16 so I figured it would be better to do that.
