Got a question, sense you guys are talking about lighting, this is my indoor cabinet. It's about 2x4 ft and 5 ft tall. Right now I have t-5's and cfls for veg. I use it on cloudy days and about 5 pm I move my plants in there from outside (to keep them in veg). I'm thinking about flowering 2 of my main lined plants in there. What type of light would be good? I have a bathroom exhaust fan mounted on top to help remove hot air and that small fan you see in the picture. Winter time temps here are still up in the 80's and low 70's at night, so might need more fans? My other option would be to set up an area outside of the cabinet.

a 400 in a nice hood would be fine, i would work on another fresh air in, and out.....if you have the option, a square space is easier to work with.......the best is to build custom of course...

i don't understand why more people don't do hydro, the initial cost is hight but after that its cheap for nutes, bigger yields, faster runs, etc.

Day 1

...after the beans sprout, and they have a tail coming out the bottom of the rooter, i put them into 1 qt. clear plastic cups wrapped in electrical tape to black them out, but the bottoms are left clear so i can study the roots......these work really well esp. for clones when the grower needs to now when they are ready for transplant....the Timewreck has yet to break out, and the Bay 11 came up with only one cody...... it looks like it caught the sharp edge of the seed on the way up, because it appears to have been sheared off.:leaf:

Brilliant. I'd actually done the tape before, too.... but this​ sounds much better.

Any size will work. I saw someone doing this on icmag. It works flawlessly. Spread the word. :bigjoint:

View attachment 2347034all three baby girls this so far the are all looking great #2 seems to be growiing alot faster than the others #3 tho has alot more smell like a chem smell almost like if u had crushed up e (this is back in the day im done with all drugs just maryjane, will tell the story about that some other time.) and #1 just doing fine nuthing real special about her nothing standidng out really but will keep you guys updated.
