this is one of the big reasons why i force sex when they are working on their 6th node.....going to 12 hours of dark legs them out a bit, then when sex is determined, she is topped and re-potted, then back to 20/4, this process opens them up a bit...it can be difficult when they are too compact.....i just put some beans in rooters, and will do a live progression here soon....so if you nerds want to play along, get some beans planted, and we will do it together!

Today it was raining, so i spent the day going through all my growing stuff including my beans....well to make a long story short i have a big stack of packages going out in the post in the morning, little gifts put together for some of my favorite nerds......but that is just part of the story.....i just got in the house after walking out to the mailbox, and was shocked to see what was inside....a check for $950 from my late grandmas estate...totally unexpected.....talk about instant karma!....i will invest it in studio toys, to take better pics to share with my fellow nerds.....share the love!....as Matt Rize would say ..."RIZE-UP"!

when did you put em in rapid rooters? My 3 AoS popped about 12 days ago. trying to see if I can still get on the nug train =)
 
muh fuckin dabumps! you crack me up. i literally burst into random fits of laughter, my wife and dogs look at me funny. dude, you really do crack me up...stretch is usually 40% of flowering...so think about it, if you have a 70 day strain, its going to "stretch" for roughly 4 weeks...a 9 week strain will stretch for roughly three weeks...then your bud goes to swellage mode and the real hard flowering begins...

don't know?...i have veneno from eva to possibly sprout soon, but i tell you what.....i just pulled a tube of 5 week cured DNA sour kush, and i am super ripped!.....right across the eyes like a headband around each separate eye ball.....and one around my chest!:-P
 
This fascinates me. I trained for same canopy height with decent success. This is a naive noob question, but I would greatly appreciate a more detailed explanation or reference to another thread/link etc. How is the pruning done? What do I cut/not cut, pinch off? I've read you use prune. Elsewhere read crop, super crop, fim. Thanks.
 
i love sdkushes...good for you brother. that headband feeling is gnarly. im smoking on some 6-7month cured sour diesel x og kush (reservoir)...instant headband! as soon as you exhale.

Oh come on damn it, cut a brother some slack. Wouldn't have asked if I knew now would I. It's not a "test". Someone man up and guide me a little. Thanks. MoJo, I started on page one to get to here. I followed along pretty well. Prune is what I'm picking up. So... teach me to prune!!!!!!!
Editing- should have asked for topping. Googled and read some. Watched a few you tubes. Saw fim and top. Seems straight forward enough.
