Nugs, in all your growing with mainlining have you grown The Flav? If so how responsive is it to the technique? I'm getting ready to germ 5 in hopes of 4/5 or 3/5 female to male.

the flav takes ML'ing really well, she is very fast growing, and has nice strong, rigid stems....she was one of the first strains i ML'ed

no CO2 for me, my grow is pretty ghetto....i just try to do the best with what i have....i am not much of an indoor grower, i am a much bigger fan of the Sun, and believe Sun grown herb is of much higher quality medicine, i just have a small indo for taking photos, developing strains, and providing some meds for my peeps...but my specialty is GH, dep, and Sun....i won't invest anymore in my indo scene, if anything i will move somewhere where i can have a larger Sun grow, and greenie grow, then use the off season for travels and chillin', and healing.

artificial environment is just not my style.....the Sun is my God.

...speaking of the Sun...its coming out today for the first time in a week, and you can bet your sweet ass i won't be in my flower room....i will be soaking up some rays.

Hey Nugs, great info in this thread. its the one training method im gettin most excited about.
Just a question from the start. how early did top the plant at first? and how old was these pictures taken at about? did you top at the 2nd true node and then bend them down after some more growth?

Gyup on both accounts. Wait till its 5-6 nodes then cut at the 5th and take off 1-2-3 and leave four for clones. Take the clones when they are about four inches! BAZAM. I love adel especially when my wife sings it. She's can sing and she's sexy as duck! I'm high.

Ah now I'm confused...again. I was under the impression one would wait for about the fifth node and then top back down at node two, leaving two clones beneath the "hub"...

cannarchy. the big misconception comes from the fact that the single blade node, is not considered true node, as it never grows into anything really. I make my first 5 star node the main hub, and the 3 star the clone hub generally.

Has anyone done this with apollo 13 BX? I have used the search and scrolled through 60+ pages of the thread but have not seen any pics. I was hoping to find some eye candy :) Mad props to nugbuckets for sharing and educating. Efficiency is godly.

I've done it but don't have any pics. She liked it but take your time in between topping, i didnt and stunted them too much.

How would you mainline if your in a hydro set up, using 3 gal pots & using clay pellets, would it all be the same? wouldnt be easy to use the cage and or tie down the lines either, any advice?
