now this room is suffering a massive wave of afids. i realeased a massive does of predators last week, it will take 2 treatments and a few weeks to regain control, in the mean time i expect to see massive amounts of yellowing and wilting. at this point i will just hold tight. i have gave the first big dose of P however i have to be careful with the food as the plants are under attack.

What genetics you workin with? you should have more plants with all that light! 15,000 watts!?! I get your energy bill for 6 months is more than what it would cost to just buy the chronic off the street. But that looks beautiful!

ok we have all these going. i have rooted a batch of clones, these are in day 3 in the soil,

there are a few momma's veggin with them that will be 100% clones in 2 weeks. we will take 60-100 clones over the next few weeks. it is time to start weeding out the weak ones.

Aside of all that we have a load of about 35 seedlings

they are

Sensi Seeds Hash plant
Paridise Sensi star
White widow
purple widow
mazar

I will need to split these up in a few weeks right now this 600 watt Mh has more than enough coverage.

i have a generator for the "big dig" and i should have alot more. i had been offline. in a few weeks the numbers will be unreal.

and my energy bills for the power i do consume are in check!
I have no desire to go buy stuff off the street. i like being the man in charge and it is a very profitable hobby.

And just for the clairty. it costs over $4.10 a hour in fuel just to suppport 12-14 k watts. my generator was not set up for bio diesel. it is very very costly to support that type of wattage. the return on that type of wattage is mind blowing.

The dig was a project i did late last fall. i vested way way too much. the humitidy is crazy. i have yet to run a cycle there yet. I have spoke of taking these clones yesterday. i am going to do a small test run later next month of my outdoor plants. i had vested to do a hydro grow there and have all the hardware ready, i have just been overworked this year.

It is hard to watch these guys go to the club and pick up genetics. over the years i have tried to get some knockouts. however on this last RESET i lost alot of great mothers......

Now rather than fill these trays with bullshit, i have been selectivly and steadly rebuilding the progression. However i have noticed that even some of my older momma's are starting to get alot of genetic problems and drift.

When i rushed back in and threw old shit under the lights i brought in

Afids / Spidermites
this combined to nearly ruin the first 2 trays in. they will finish, however you will see a huge difference in the color size and yeild of these that i have had my time with.

Also i have started 3 waves of new seedlings, i am just simply not in a hurry to fill spots because these new genetics have 2x the number of nodes as the older ones so lots of room will be left.

As for space to plant issues in flower 9 to a 1k is my magic #. i can pull more bud off 9 then 25 smaller ones. i really could grow on the outside edge of these lights too but i simply dont care. i use the trays for drainage so it limits the foot print. however a nice healthy tray will pull 1.75-2.75
pounds per cycle. i caculate my break even point in a few branches.

abudsmoker....

you swear by lumatek?

this is a loaded question.......

let me point out my thoughts and oppions on this.

Lumatek is from the uk. they used a different voltage.
So us branded models were different.

Thefirst real E ballast that was stable were silver.
the real draw back was no reflector. and all the cordsets were intergrated.

Then late 2005 hydrofarm picked them up. they made the cordsets removable and painted the ballast blue.

(these are the absolute best IMO) these were production run till late o6, at this point they Changed the ballasts again, in and out. the First gen purple ballasts were late o6 run. the latter o7 purple models have become buggy.

they also just released a 1000 watt 120 volt model and it wont burn halide.
Some of the other issues are power up delay,

Some of the 600 models overpower bulbs causing shaking or distortion of the arch tub assembly.

my local guy sells 14-25 a month. 3 issues total over the last year. i have had 0 and i own a large Cache of these.

However i note nearly all my ballasts are blue or first gen purple, i only run 1000 watt 240 volt versions. all other models are operated @ 120.

I Swear by these or PL light systems.
the reason i like these models is they are LAB proven to drive your lights harder. in most cases 10% more. there are simply too many benifits to list.

28 ballasts 0 issues.... i would stand behind that.

For the record..... i own one HTG Ballast also :)

Hi abudsmoker.
I wanted to ask you two questions..... why you never fold down the plants and why you don't lower a few the lamps considering that you use some cooltubes?
it excuses my English but I am not English

if i get to close they turn white. i love 12-18 gap. i dont mess with the plants much, i simply feed and groom. i have lost the love i merely produce. if it makes 2 oz i am happy if they make less i dont care.

All the stress and bending makes a plant need to be tied i move things around alot. i have noticed a loss in yeild by topping and bending. too many bud sites is not always good
