The mars cob ,defo helps produce ,some serious tricones .Even the stems are covered.

No I noticed the same,I do hps has well and the plants from that are all ways dripping but since I have been using this lighting I noticed they produce a lot of trichomes,Even the stems are covered from top to bottom in them

This is going to be a easy one to make oil with ,if it does not turn Purple.If it turns that dark purple like what's going on with the Pistols coming out of the Resin Glands,and the main stalks on both are both turning dark in color.But if it does not end up that color ,then should be the easiest oil run I have ever done,because every single bit of this plant is covered in Trichomes.so just a matter of chopping the plant down drying and then putting through a grinder,then add alcohol and make some oil from it.The Rails ,stems are covered from top of the plant to bottom in good heads ,it would be great if it turned purple ,because I could do with the Money after the lay out I have just spent a fair bit getting all the stuff I needed for flowering room,and the extra stuff for tent.I have also found that if you put a piece of duct in the hole at the bottom of a tent ,and get a decent Exhaust fan ,then it pulls air out of the room .But also pulls fresh air in through that opening ,You need the fan on 24/7 to stop any smell ,but you can put a piece of paper to the hole and the suction from the fan holds the paper in place ,so it defo works.The light was not running hot ,so sorry Mars ,it's just the exhaust was not working right.

I bet this strain would be brilliant for making Hash .Rosin.If I had all the stuff to make Rosin then I think I would be putting these to that .The amount of Trichomes are sure sign the return should be good .Still hoping on it will go a lovely Purple color still .Could really do with it going that way ,be nice for new year.

I was reading an article about this specific issue or topic and it was stated, through testing not talking, that hps produces larger heavier buds but that high quality led increases potency over weight.
Based on the research I would say your seat of the pants obsrvation is right on. I'll look for the research article I read.

Just Noticed the first signs of that dark purple that is on some of the Pistols,that are coming out of the Resin Glands .They are really swelling now too .Real pungent smell to this stuff,Really happy to see the first signs of color along with the Trichome production this is gonna be fire,even if it produce a Oz a plant ,that is still 560 if I do decide to get shut .but most likely keep at least one of them,hope it's done in time for Christmas,or new year .Start 4 th week in 2 days.

I go on what I see ,and what I see is HPS still producers massive amounts of Trichomes,and top shelf bud .But There is no way you can say LEDs don't produce massive amounts of the good stuff we want for meds .the top to bottom of both plants ,I mean stems is covered in Trichomes.Its one of the strongest smelling strains I've done love it,that will carry over in taste,I know that for sure.Beautiful girl.One will do ok weight wise the other less ,but Quality wise 10/10 I say now .just through look alone and smell.But yea I have read into this Subject before ,look back on the others I did under the LED ,they are also dripping in goodness.I see if I can find it ,thanks dude.

Shitty t5's are the biz for veg ,and pretty good for flowering with right tubes in .this light has been great for both so far veg and flower ,room is cool has ,there really drinking now too.You want daylight Blue for veg then over to a mix of blue and orange red,for flower.I only ever veg under them .the FLCheese in my journal are T5 veg.I only have a 4 tube one too for that room ,but going up to 6 soon,I do have a 2 tube one I use on clones early.The only time my HPS lights are on is every 8/9 week for Flowering

It's a Mars cob Cree 300 ,got a say so far it's great water proof.Very nice build look like lights I seen that are 3 times the price,Long life span on the light .all specs are on my journal,if you wanna have a look

These was showing Trichomes in veg to be honest ,but last couple of week they have gone into overdrive production wise,since I added big big from Advanced.Pk 13/14 in 8 days.This will make some serious Oil,most likely put to to sleep for 2 days lol.Gonna make a 7 gram bud into Moon rock tomorrow I will post it up when it's done,have some full melt dry sift to cover it in ,and getting some hash oil ,from me brother .The Oil is just to give it a thin layer of oil for sift to stick to .That should last me weekend,just smoked a spliff of the Skunk # 1 F#1 ,it was un real joy on the taste buds ,first time I have tried that pheno ,others was the same tasting just a bit more flavour from this one though

Veg under Mars Hydro 300 LED,then to flower,= Round about 4 1/2 /5 1/2 Oz.
Veg under HPS,then to Flower.= 1 lb per plant .
All test are done on 1 plant under one Light grown scrog.
Best for weight and high Quality finish is a Hard One to Answer ,Apart from Weight.The HPS will take some beating for weight Quality all ways good.

I can speak for my LEDs which are Samsung f564b strip fixtures.
I've built four of them which are putting out 400 watts of real power each but each being equal to a 600w hps which would be 2400w total compared to 1600w used.
The reason I know these are real numbers is I found a build walkthrough that actually used PAR meter to compare the two.
My build was slightly different but the numbers were very similar.

I go on how they look,This one has the look of Dr Greenspoon to it,Will be great for what i want it for Oil and hemp combo oil .For a cbd and thc rich oil .The Other is a lot bigger with nice sized colas ,That is just starting to get a little colour .Has soon has it starts to purp i put some pictures on.Starting to mix ,another thing i love Photography along with Cannabis.This Light now the tent is set up right is brilliant,if anything its prob a tad cold in there.But i gonna leave it,and hope that brings the color out a bit more.There 28 days into flower today.I'm not saying that hps is beat by led or cob,But for early thc production,i have to Admit that the plants seem to get really coated in trichomes early.For weight i wont be hanging my hps lights up for a long time ,but i will be adding a couple of cobs for side lighting next grow for sure .Both the Mars lights i have used have been spot on Customer service has been brilliant,and really Quality built lights.Next run i'm going with Charlottes Angel CBD,in the Tent .I am going to use both the LED And Cob at same time.I think this should produce some nice weight,I hope its meds i really need so i hope it does.

That's really dependent on Watts used he might have a good ratio independent of the size of each bud.

The other One is the one what will do ok weight wise ,in journal .Why are so so angry all the time dude ,If the skys blue you would argue it was grey you just seem angry get some smoke down you and chill out.You all ways there with your opinion ,and its ok to have a opinion,but you seem to think your right all the time,
