The Mindscape of ALLAN MOORE

I walked into my local mom n pop's bookstore yesterday... I'm quite new to my region so this bookstore through me in for one heck of a treat... Bookstands the size of what you see on the Disney movie Beaty and the Beast lols... and a basement that an underground chemist would die for :D

Anywho, back to my point... this fellow reminds of the philosopher who Wrote "Ghost in the Machine"... this man could keep me up for days ;)

This deserves a

I watched this, truly wonderful. Although, when he explains the time in which human invention (information) doubles, how does one know in which a point should start/stop measuring. For example, yes you could start when the first invention was 'invented' but you can't just say, OK lets stop at this moment "blah".... and see how long it takes us to double the inventions (human information)... I'm not great at explaining things, but hopefully you understand. He says we will be doubling information every thousand of a second or whatever by 2015, does this hold true if the measure of information was for example from the first invention to now? then the unit of measurement would change and his statement would not hold true. The unit of measure can't be true as it would always change...

Maybe I missed the point... and someone can elaborate....

I agree with you ... in terms of the tangibility of given 'figures' .... as he describes this process in time.
He is a writer and does not describe this principle in great detail .... that is beyond the scope ... of the presentation.

To understand this ... better you might want to look at
Moors Law here ...
Although this applies to hardware ... it gives you a mathematical representation of exponential growth ...
you might want to think of the posed idea(as per inventions) ... Alan Moore .... along the same line.

NOTE. Moors Law was not written by Alan Moore.
Two different people.
