also, the $10 million number is interesting. it is sharply revised from the original claim that his trips cost $200 million a day, for one :dunce:

secondly, $10 million works out to about $0.09 per tax payer per year. which is about 0.00025% of what anyone who works gets back extra in taxes thanks to making work pay tax credits. leaving every taxpayer with a net gain of $399.91.

surely you guys didn't think that security detail for the first family was provided for free?

finally, you guys have quite a knack for taking dubitable claims and running with them while ignoring solid facts. especially if it allows you to lynch a welfare queen. :cuss:

Yes, for sure the $10 million must be fabricated.

Doesn't the President receive a pay check? Shouldn't he use that pay check to pay for his own Vacations? I mean I have to use my own money myself, I kind of expect a leader to lead by example.

While the President and his wife do pay for some of their personal expenses from their own pocket, the website whitehousedossier.com says that the amount paid by the couple is ‘dwarfed by the overall cost to the public’.

i went back all the way to 2006 and there wasn't a single conservative, and back then there were a few neo-cons, that even brought up how much bush's eternal vacations cost the tax payer... this was even after 9/11 and wars n shit...

You can't prove racism any more than it can be disproved. The best you can do is take people at their word. So unless people specifically say they don't like Obama because he is half white, well then they aren't racists.
