a bunch of clouds rolled in over the last hour...there is a dim orange light behind the clouds though. i can see some stars so hopefully some of these clouds keep clearing out.

i missed the last meteor shower because of the clouds so ill be kinds pissed if i miss this too.

I heard the moon will be bright red or brown from the volcanic activity on Earth. This is the longest night of the year and I'm drinking wine, smoking Trainwreck and watching the sky overhead in No. CA. I'll have to see how it looks at 12:13, but right now it's covered by clouds.

Keep us posted cmt and all other east and mid-west people :)

the clouds rolled out and its nice and clear now. orion is nice and bright tonite too. well my camera doesnt do very good moon shots but here it is. its 2:14 in michigan.

wish it wasn't so cold out, could get some better shots if i wasn't shaking so bad. it doesnt show up in the picture but the dark side of the moon is actually a dim orange, it looks pretty cool.

the moon seems reddish/brown because the only light reflecting is passing through our atmosphere .... nothing to do with volcanic activity

It was cloudy as crap in my neck of the woods. I missed it!! Stayed up all night waiting on a peak so i can take tat big long "i wanna pass out rip" and nothing. Still got toasted to lmao good times
