Gotcha. Thanks. I'm trying to figure out a way to go about it without having to send away for new nets every time. Time to hit the DIY drawing board, I guess.
I thought CBD was independent of THC? A higher cbd strain would be for instance: 20% THC, 5% CBD? With all that being said if you use a UVB light will it prohibit developing CBD or make more because it's cannabinoid? I'm curious because although I like strains with higher THC content I want my anti-anxiety CBD counterparts as well. This is the vid I watched that convinced me to add UVB (plenty of other reading on the subject out there).
The places on our planet that have the highest percentage of UVB, curiously also produce some of the BEST weed.
Most of our grow lighting contains little to NO UVB.
It is a BIT lengthy and technical, but worthwhile !!!
I haven't grown without it so I have no comparison, BUT, the weed I have grown so far is WICKED ass good and I am not gonna quit it.
I also add the ghetto CO2 with the sugar water & yeast.
Again, no comparison without it, but I'll always do it.
Not too hot at all. This answered my question

It didn't prohibit, but didn't increase the CBD production. Although CBD counteracts THC so a higher count would make the CBD not as effective. I think i'll still buy the light. is it a pretty hot light? I'm already at 82-84 degrees.
what kind of wattage for the UBV lights do you recommend for my plant? It isn't very big, but it's compact and has 9 tops. Not too hot at all.
Yeah that's the bulb I was looking at. I'll be getting a jeweler's loupe on Monday in the mail, so I'll take a look at the trichromes to see how mature they are and go from there. This Sunday will be week 5 in flower. I think I will get one for the next grow at least. Do you have it in all the time or just during flower?
My theory is, the UVB is always on in those regions that have the high UVB, so.....Yeah that's the bulb I was looking at.
