not sure why you include the

the language is as straightforward as can be about the 'safe room'

since my view doesn't matter since i live in kentucky but if i did live in cali i would vote yes on proposition 19.
1. it would help this economical debt obama has done so great of a job to put us in
2. It would help lead the way for other states to consider legalization
3. As Ron Paul said "let someone do what they want to do with there own body."
4. Growers could do it for all purposes legally.
5. It would stop the unneccesary arrests and money wasted annualy on this epically failing war.

not a problem as long as you can calculate square footage. i think i learned square footage in the 4th or 5th grade.
doesn't change the fact that it's stupid. :dunce:

what if my grow is in my garage? in a 5 x 5 grow tent. and i store 4 ounces of personal in my bedroom closet? i don't really want to keep my jars of bud in my grow tent. i'd rather hide them in the back of my closet. would i be in violation of the regulations?

what if i live in a 3 story house and i cut the bottoms out of 2 stories and i make a 5 x 5 grow room that is 7 levels tall? i could put a 1000 watter at each level. ;)

7th and 8th grade we covered CUBIC FEET. you must have missed that day. ;)

seems some people can't even think WITHIN the box. lol

What if, what if....are you 5-years old, fdd? If my grandmother had balls she'd be my grandfather. (I know that doesn't make sense here, but I like the expression...)

So why is the police in your house trying to figure out the size of your grow and where you store your bud in the first place?

because there were limits set. :dunce:

you think you're free in your own home to do as you wish? then why the need to pass any law in the first place?

"i can have as MUCH as i WANT, in my magic closet." and they ask me if I'M 5?

Dude, go google what affirmative defense means. There will be some landmark cases to test the boundaries of this thing if it passes, but the way it is worded it makes it very hard for the police to do anything about people exceeding the limits as long as it's for personal consumption. And don't you have a med card anyhow...? This won't even be an issue for you.

And, yes....it does seem like you're 5 years old sometimes, sorry bro.

im not from cali i have no idea whats going on... why do so many people think its ok to hand the stoner economy (plus our culture) over to the government so theyll tax it? they took our plant for years and years now you say its yours tax me?!? weed is not fucking cigaretts why forfeit our bread and butter so you can go get taxed for it at the store? if weeds decriminalized it wont be hard to find...and cheaper... and better... so the majority of these voters want to be government slaves through taxes? if we give it up people who want to make a living in the marijuana trade wont be able to, it'd be like selling cig's- thats like anti stoner you guys

like i asked, "if you are safe in your home why do you need this to pass?"

"landmark cases" as in people being ARRESTED. yeah prop 19.

it's an issue for me because i live in cali and i VOTE. i'm certainly not leaving that spot blank.

i don't need to call you names to make my point. :)

like i asked, "if you are safe in your home why do you need this to pass?"
false presupposition. right now, if you grow even one plant, you are not safe in your own home, you are eligible for manufacture and possesion of a schedule 1 substance.

should this pass, the smell of marjuana is no longer grounds for them to come in to your home. you can't smell bigger than 5x5. they would need some other reason. the vast majority of the smoking public would be safer in their own homes.

throw in the affirmative defense and safer becomes saferer. it's progress in the right direction.

the eye roll was because the "safe room" is fucking stupid. what if i store it in the kitchen?

Then you are putting your children in grave danger and someone should protect them from you!

So why is the police in your house trying to figure out the size of your grow and where you store your bud in the first place?
Because they are pigs...that is what they do...wtf do you expect them to do??? Can't eat donuts all day long...gotta wait till 3pm to harass teenagers.

"The smell was so strong, there was no way it could have been a 5x5' grow"..."I saw a bong"..."I heard children in the vicinity of the odor"..."To check the I.D. and verify all involved are at least 21"..."I thought they said come in"..."I heard a scream"..."Oops, wrong house...but while we're here"..."There is a fugitive in the area and we believe we saw him enter the rear of you house...we need to come in to make sure he is not holding you at gunpoint"...Hell they're pigs...they make it up as they go along...ANYTHING to avoid stopping real crime and endangering their mustache...

Yes, and in most cases a probable cause hearing with a judge will result in the whole thing being thrown out and the police reprimanded.

Some parts of our judicial system do still work...

I agree that the cops will do whatever they can to get around the law, but with a law like this on the books it would be very hard for them to fuck with growers or smokers. The feds are a different story, since they will always argue that federal drug laws supersede tax and regulate...

none of us is ever more than a moment away from spending the rest of our unnatural lives in prison. any charge, trumped up or otherwise, can be inflated into a life ending occurrence and even the most innocent of us is at the mercy of law enforcement and an easily corrupted judicial system. the simple fact is that any step that gives us one bit of leverage over the system is a step forward. sure, any cop can sidestep the law and bust you for any reason, but this has always been the case. your neighbor may make false allegations and land you in a world of hurt. contraband may be planted, lies may be told and evidence fabricated. it's all a part of living in a society with a flexible legal system that depends on fallible humans to enforce our laws. if we demand perfection we'll only end up with someone else's version of paradise, hell to some and just as flawed as any other.
