I've used FF soils and solubles, but not all of them.
I think Light Warrior is a great starter soil, but I wouldn't use it all the way through the cycle alone. Definitely nice to mix with FFOF.
I personally dont care for the FF Happy Frog. I used it completely last round, and just thought it was too compact. Probably not loose enough down deep for good root growth. I even cut with 20% perlite this time with FFHF. But who knows, maybe my test is altered because i put soil amendments in the FFHF, and not the same amendments in the coco that im doing mostly now. Other than Mycorrhiza, which went into both mediums.
I can definitely see a HUGE difference in plant happiness in coco vs soil. hands down coco is killin it.. but this isn't the thread for that. My point is, stick to FFOF.
My only question though. Beastie Bloomz: I have some left over from last soil grow. It says mid 2 final weeks of flower. Its a 0-50-30. I'm almost at 3 wks into flower running Blue Dream mostly. But I have some Headband and Sour Diesel in FFHF mix again. Can I go ahead and start doing 1/2 strength of Beastie Bloomz? then ramp up to label strength? is the consensus even to follow label strength? I always try to gauge by the look and responsiveness of the plant, but just curious.
with the soil, I'm currently using Cutting Edge Micro, Bloom, and sometimes EarthJuice HiBrix? the molasses stuff. When do I mix the Beastie Blooms in ? at the end of the nute lineup?
