I see all your guys are mostly having great luck with FF but I am not. Is there some particular angle I should be taking when doing this indoors with a 400 HPS? Am I just mixing too strong or too light? Link in sig....

Stop giving them nutes. They are overnuted, flush them and give them regular ph'd water for the rest of you're grow. Fox farms has plenty of nutes. Much more than people realize. Some people have a tendency to give plants nutes when its not neccessary at all, I've done it too trust me. But in my opinion I'd rather be safe than sorry.
An example is my plant, Its outdoors in a ten gallon container of FFOF and hasn't been fed ONE bit of nutes the entire grow so far. I'm halfway through flowering and shes still strong and green.
Here is my update btw. Bubba kush week 4-5 flowering outdoors. And My OG kush, and skywalker OG were tossed into flowering 2 days back I'm using a 250 watt hps for them. My Tahoe OG has taken off quite niceley and tripled in size over the past 2 weeks and is now 10 inches. I plan on making her a mother to take some clones from and then flower her.
Tahoe OG is in the black pot, Skywalker og is in the white one, and the OG kush is in the green one.

What would you recommend for a 12/12 seed-straight-to-flower PC Grow?

I am a bit wary to whichever the strongest blend is, as Im flowering from seed. I see 3 mixes to choose from...

Fox Farm Organic Planting Mix 1 cu. ft.
Fox Farm Ocean Forest organic potting soil 1.5 cu. ft.
Fox Farm Light Warrior Grow Medium 1 cu. ft.

Which would be the best for flowering from seed and how long should I expect the nutes to last before feeding?

I know it's vague and newbish, I am strong in aptitude where I lack experience :D

I would just go with FFOF, its simply what most people use. If you plan on doing them 12/12 from seed, you probably wont even have to give them nutes.

Yeah if you really want to, it isnt really needed with it though. I just use it straight out of the bag and it works great.

I did a flush and it got worse. So you don't use any nutes at all in any of your grows with FF OF? Shit I wish I'd heard more people say that before I spent 100+ bucks on the whole line up! :(

Congrats man, You'll have to let us know what the final weight was and give us a smoke report! It makes me so happy to see someone complete a grow and come out ahead! :)

Hey there guys,
Im currently in week 6 of vegg and my sour og clone is 28 in and my larry og is 24 in. Space is getting tight and the leaves facing the wall are showing signs of heat stress. I was going to wait until i save up enough money for my new grow room setup. But due to some issues, the new grow room will be pushed back for another 2-3 weeks, maybe even a month at most. I was planning on getting a DR120 and a 600W HPS. Right now, Im running 2 x 23W 5000K and 2 x 13W 5000K. I have them under 16/8 light for the past 3 weeks. I've only been feeding them 800ppm of grow big and 150ppm of calmag every other watering. Should I start switching to bloom nutes soon and switch the lights to 12/12. Or should I just wait for my new grow room?

In your current situation I would say you're better of taking them out of the grow space you're currently using, and setting them up in an open area with the lights hanging above them.
Me personally I veg my indoor stuff under t5's in an open area and my plants do perfectly fine. Then again some people aren't able to grow like this due to circumstances with living space/neighbors blah blah. But yeah, I see no problem with growing them in an open space with those lights as long as they stay close to the lights
. This way they can grow more while you wait fo the new setup, without dealing with heat issues.
If you were to sawitch them to 12/12 now in such a small space, you wouldn't have room for them within 2 weeks due to growth spurt at the begininng of flower.
I grow OG's and I will tell you that they LOVE to stretch, if you have a 24 inch OG, you could probably expect it to be 4 to 5 feet by the end.
Or if you can, you could harden them off, and have them flower outdoors from here on out, and get new plants with your new room.

Thanx for the info meezy. Ya currently in my situation I can't just grow them in an open area. I have maximized the amount of space available to me. But I know two things if I switch to 12/12 right now.
1. My buds won't be as dense as they would under a 600W HPS.
2. They wouldn't have enough space to grow height wise. Since my OG plant is already 28 in and still in vegg. Is that correct to my understanding? And if I were to keep giving them 16/8 light for an additional month max will that increase/decrease my yield?

A DR120 and a 600w will be an extremely clean setup man, can't wait to see that... that's what I wish I had, I'm a notch under you with a DR100 and a 400w. If you veg that plant for another month then your going to have a f-ing Monster on your hands when flower time comes, consider what Meezy just said, one 24' is 4-5 feet tall? Yours would be almost that tall at the end of veg if you went that much longer! :) Of coarse you could lst her into place but that's going to take some constant attention.

So it's perfectly fine to vegg them for another month max and not decrease my yield? And yes I'm really excited myself to put this grow room together cuz I know if I wait I'll get soo much better buds in the end. The DR100 with the 400W will eventually be a vegging room in the future for me. So what kind of yield am I looking at per plant if vegged for another month then flowered under a 600W HPS light? Currently in 5 gal and 7 gal pots.

I had a guy at the dispensary the other day tell me that Fox Farms sucks and that his bro is hooking him up with something better. I asked him what it was. He said, "Beasty something or another...". I laughed and told him that "Beasty Buds" is Fox Farms!

If you veg that long you will soon be reaching a point of diminishing returns, meaning your plant will become to big to manage and will end up hurting in quality in pursuit of quantity. To many variables but a plant vegged for 2 months and then trained into a small space could get you a few ounces, one gram per watt of light (total) is what I hear can be obtained, even double or more that when everything is dialed in perfectly. Personally I wouldn't veg over 6 weeks from seed in a tent unless I just had a freakin monster of a tent too accommodate the plant....

Next time I'm going to try and do more smaller plants instead of one larger plant for times sake.
