Hey guys it's been a while since I updated y'all but FYI my first ghetto grow is still goin and growin great!! If you remember I had 3 bag seed plants, tomorrow will mark them at 7 weeks old and they've been flowering for 4 weeks. Well a few weeks back they showed sex, and only one showed balls so he is no more. But I'm so happy I got lucky with two girls!! They're showin flowers nicely and it's nice to see the buds grow :D technically now tho I am back to three plants. My buddy had started a bagseed plant of his own and vegged it for 3 weeks but he couldn't commit to the grow and brought it over to my place to leave in my hands. Since it's in my grow area it is getting the same 12/12 light time as my girls and we shall see soon if my buddy brought me a new girl or not. I'm sorry I don't have new pics to share at the moment...times are tough had to sell my camera ya know. But if you've seen my growbox from my older pics you know what I'm workin with. I'd like to point out that my girls grew to like 4 feet tall lol they're up to the top of the box haha. But yeah I started doin this for fun and man it's definitely cooler to check out the girls now with buds developing haha. Pretty sure this growing thing is a new and permanent hobby, as long as I can help it!! I'll try to get some pics up soon. Oh yeah I've been upgrading the lights as much as I can throughout the grow, I've got 9 cfl's in that thing now and I've also added a second pc fan. And great lookin grows you guys lookin good all around keep it up!!

im currently waiting for an adaptor and will then have more light, and will be soon building a proper grow box, but on short notice, this is that i came up with lol.

Hey Frenchy, way to "grow", Bro......It seems that some cannabis folk make like it's rocket science, but the truth is: seed+soil+water+light=cannabis, LOL. Good luck & good grow.......BB

Well here is my new cabinet. I still need to get a better fan and some mylar or something to line it with. I am also going to have to switch containers since my buckets don't really fit that well. It is 30"x20"x70" I think I can fit 10-12 autos in it.

And the Oscar for best use of a dining room chair goes to Psychild!

And I see that you are pumping in music w/ ur iPod - What music do your babies respond best to? LOL - keep up the good work!
Haha thanks....As far as music goes, we have them alternating alot. It's really annoying because my room mates go in there and change it, but since I'm in there every 30 minutes to an hour I change it back. For the most part I try to keep it on either Cypress Hill or Bone Thugz -n- Harmony...from my point of view, you can't have gangsta bud without gangsta music.

I've got a question for all the awesome Uhaul box growers out there. So I'm thinking of rigging up a box for my next project, their biggest box the Grand Wardrobe Box sitting at 24" x 21" x 48". My question is, is it alright to have the carbon filter attached to the top of the box apposed to attached to the side of the box which I've been seeing? So that you have air coming from the bottom and flowing straight up the top and out the filter. And is it possible to grow two plants in this box ? I've included a graphic diagram of my project. Please excuse the crudeness I only spent 15min making it for this question.

I'm not an expert,:dunce:, but I'm just setting up a mini 9 spot stink bud jr is an old dresser (sans drawers - I glued the drawer fronts back on, door on back) w/ same dimensions. I am only growing lowryders though. It will be a little snug - but cozy! It is a nice pic as well.

heres some pics of my grand wardrobe box, the biggest problem is heat from the lights, the more bulbs, the more heat. ive had as many as 13 23 and 27 watt bulbs going at once in mine. the temps run about high 70's to low 80's with the fans im using. nice drawing btw. if i did that i would use a big exhaust fan with the filter and only passive intake, it will draw the sir through there. all my fans are on the sides because i use the top to keep all my supplies. i just pulled a little over 4 oz's off 2 plants out of that box. the pic of the big bushy plant is now, a kandy kush from the last plant. these boxes are great for this and i wouldnt grow in anything else.

Man that shit looks crazy.....I still don't understand the different types of exhausts and such. I know this is kind of dumb, but why not just have some "intake fans" on one side and some "exit fans" directly on the other side? What's the difference?

well, i have a couple theroies on whats going on inside the box. 1, to much intake would create a dead zone where the air wouldnt move and 2, you only need half the intake as you do exhaust so that it sucks the air through the box. i have double the amount of exhaust fans as i do intake. ive played with this for about a a year now and this is the way i got the lowest temps. i think the the fan/carbon filter mounted on would be great, but play with the intake fans, you might only need 1 and a nice size passive. i use 1 90mm fan and that white table fan for intake along with an 8" passive. the exhaust are 3 80mm fans staggered up the othe side with a 10" fan at the top corner. i also have a pipe that runs to my window so that when it was cold here, it drew fresh cold air from outside with a 80mm fan. that worked great, temps were in the low 70's.
