Good idea - Can't believe I didn't think of that.

I've now got zip ties in place.

I'm going to cut that piece of wood and put it across the middle, I want to add another power strip to it and add another 2 cfl's or so. Good luck with your grow

is the soil dry when u come back in?
its almost impossible to answer the question without know more about your setup, watering schedule, and plant.

i just harvested my beasty LSTed plant :twisted:

i used this method Riddleme posted in the calling all noobs thread. it starts fermentation while the plant is still growing so you dont have to depend on curing so much. you shud check it out sumtime!
this plants smells SOOOO much better then the other plants of this strain iv chopped in the past.

any help with this folks, i didnt have any starting medium, peet pots, things like that for fresh germinated seeds, and the small town i live in had put away all of the stuff i usually use " why do you need to start seeds this late in the growing season, said the lady at lowes" just left, its a farming community in a small town in a shitty state. anyways i had nowhere to put these germinated seeds except the soil i intended to grow in, so my question is how long should it take for them to sprout under around 16 to 18 hours of light? any help would be appreciated as usual thank u fellow ghetto growers, we may not have the best set ups but we get results dont we. thanks again. by the way its been two days since they were put in the soil so just saying help please just dont want to think i ordered these expensive seeds and ruined them, but i may just be impatient maybe in a day or two they will come on up and ill be ok, but anyways let a fellow grower know spread the knowledge so that ppl like me dont ruin a good thing am i right, give me a grow pot! na just bullshitin il be waiting on a reply thanks guys

one more thing, i cant chane my profile pic and ive tried everything, any help, and i need to add a few friends so please help me out thanks ppl

well itll take time for them to crack open in the soil then grow from there... im thinking maybe a week till you see it poking through well.

How long have they been planted? Tell us about your set up a little bit. Lights, what kind of soil, etc...

what kind of soil did you endup puttn the seeds in?
the time in witch it takes to break the surface depends on alot of things, most importantly.. does your soil have big chunks of stuff in it? like perlite,bark,wood chips, etc.. this can make it take longer cuz the sprout will run into sumthin and take a while to figure out a way around it.
and whay type of lights do you have? how close are they to your soil? your temp?
to me it sounds like you did good though, it should break soil within 10 days AT THE MOST. at 12-13 days i decide there duds.

Don't post pics from your iPhone. They get stamped with GPS info, and it's not too difficult to pull that information out of the image. At another grower forum there was a lot of trouble with people snatching outdoor plants because of this.
