The old vet vs the solar guy, 6 plant 4k grow

He needs a little help in the grow room so he said I get to have 3 plants.

He's using miracle grow soil and FF nutes.
I'm using FF soil and nutes.

I ordered our favorite seeds from attitude and ended up getting a shitload of seeds for free. (If you've grown anything on the list please let me know how it turned out.)

I know 2 of his are:
Purple haze
Blue dream
Unknown, will fill it in when he picks it out.

My first 3 in rotation will be:
Sour diesel
Ghost train haze #1, will always be in rotation.
Blue Cindy

There's a clone and veg room with T5s and subs as a house for a 8 inch Iizard for the past 6 years!!

The flower room is about 10x12 with (5) 18 inch fans, ac unit set on 75 and (4) 1000w HPS light set ups.

I will add pics of the rooms and set up as I get it cleaned up and more organized for us.

Day 1:

Seeds In bags for germination.

Vet: added lemon pineapple to his grow.
Purple haze, blue dream and lemon pineapple

I switched up Blue Cindy for Original Sour diesel.

Good news! All 6 seeds germ'd!!
Seedlings were transported to 2 gallon containers for the next 3 weeks.

You’re in a dead end room with 4000 watts of heat from lights alone.

I would put sealed hoods on those lights and vent them, otherwise your AC will run NONSTOP.

Personally I would get the ballasts outside the room if possible too. That’s part of why they put long ass cords on them so you can move them out of your grow space.

I agree. My first grow was in that size room with 2 600 watt bulbs. 1 mh 1 hps hung and stacked vertically, with 9 pots around the lights in a circle. I would just give them like a 180 every day. But that was hot. I can't imaging 4 1000 watt bulbs plus the ballasts

I think the temp is going to be okay. He's been growing in this room for 15+ years. If I think it gets too hot I will cool tube them for him. There's 2 ACs and like 10- 18 inch fans.

On another note, I went to town this weekend and picked up some new nutes. If you've used it please let me know how it went and how you fed.

I was going to go with the fox farm line up but switched to this brand. Guy said he gets great results with it.

We got 4 or 6 up and going. Hopefully the other two bust out today or tomorrow.

Moved the light down on the little clone.

It's a 2 room garage office.

The other two have popped up! All 6 are up now!

Ordered a new PH pen today.

The old vet says it gets about 85 to 87 in the room with all the lights on. So, I did suggest cool tubes to keep the temp down. Those will be ordered this week. Any suggestions?

Clone is looking well. Moved her to a 15L pot.

Back from Cooperstown and Gulf Shores!

The clone is looking well. 2 or 3 more weeks she will go under flower.

I have 4 out of the 6 looking pretty good.
I'm worried about the pineapple tho, she doesn't look good right now. Definitely way way behind the others.

Transplanted two into their forever pots and now officially in veg mode. They also got their first dose of Trinity and cal mag.

Sour diesel and lemon pineapple are finally getting with the program but are super far behind.

4 out of 6 are in big pots and under the big lights. Got their first dose of nutes today.

Need some more soil to tranplant the two from one gallon pot to the bigger ones. Purple haze and Og ghost train haze #1. Started off rough but got through it.

Clone has about another week in the veg room before heading to the other side. Will take clones from her before she goes.

I have planted with FF soil and MG performance organics and the same time/same strain. Wasn't done as a test, but rather necessity, as I ran out of FF.

Unexpectedly the MG preformed noticeably better, which was u expected. I read some not so great things about MG organics. It worked out great for me. Will be interested to see the results here.

Went to the lake for a week and the old man got sick and could barely water.

LFB clone is just about ready to hit the flower room.

I may start over with purple haze. I feel like it's been to long to be so messed up.

One clone of the LfB made it.

Sour diesel is looking super nice now. Got her in her forever home today.

clones off LFB, blue dream and duban poison are looking better after their transfer. Maybe too much water, leaves are still somewhat drooping.

LFB, BD and DP have been moved to the flower room. Yay!

I think I'm just going weed out the lemon pineapple after 1.5 months she's only 3 inches tall and looks horrible.

Finished up a little solar project on the outside of Houston this weekend.
