The Original Sensible Seed Company

Hey all. I was wondering if anyone has experience with The Original Sensible Seed Company? I hardly can find a thing about them, and just was curious if someone else out there had ordered from them.

I just ordered one Critical Express Autoflowering, two Auto Wembley and another Bio Diesel Mass.

Nothing on them and they are beating their chest about being the original??? LOL!! Better stick with the Attitude or Nirvana; they are proven winners.

I only order from them there customer service is great and they have a nice selection of seeds.
Fast shipping origanal packaging and seeds are always in good condition.

hi i know this is a bit of an old post, but i thought i'd add my pennoth worth ... i'm doing a piece on seed buying for my blog so thought I'd do a price comparison. Original are pretty much always cheaper than attitude or nirvana (who I heard had been bought up by attitude). I've got a fair few seeds off em over the past year and service has always been great. I believe the moniker comes from the fact that the owner set up one of the first grow shops in the UK back in 92 .. so he's been selling seeds for 20 years. Dope seeds.com are pretty good too with good customer service (well done Jim). Rhino's as good on price, but I've never used em. So back to the Q: yes its safe, cheap and a great idea to buy from original!

bought 3 Biodiesel Mass Auto and got an Afghan Kush Ryder Auto for free. Afghan Kush Ryder was delish.

bought 5 Jack Herer and got two Afghan Kush x yumbolt for free.

Fast and cheap all the way!

They are the only place I order from. Almost always a few bucks cheaper than the tude & The freebies are just as good if not better. Customer service is excellent!

Don't order from them if you live in the U.S. My last 2 orders never showed up and I was shit-out-of-luck...... maybe they changed their policy, or shipping method- who knows. I've always gotten my orders from Sannies, Attitude and Breeders Boutique and that's who I use.

And you always have to take a first post, with a positive on a seed bank, with a grain of salt. Dr. Greenthumb does the same thing- they set up multiple accounts and ass kiss each other- all being the same person. LOL

I'd be suspicious at this point!

They shipped me photo seeds instead of auto flowering seeds. Said they would re mail the autos and asked me to mail back the photos. Now they are ignoring my emails. Buyer beware.

are you sure it wasn't Sensible seeds... i have dealt w/these guys a bunch of times.. they have always come through for me.. the most i waited was 12 days to Boston and that was over a holiday weekend.. there is http://original-ssc.com/ and there is Sensible seeds don't get the two confused.. i have heard lots of complaints about Sensible Seeds.. but i have always used Original Sensible Seeds and had no problem.. they have sent me more $$ worth of free shit then i have bought from them over the yrs. so it's hard for me to believe they won't fix any/all problems.. this is their facebook page. .https://www.facebook.com/Original.Sensible.SeedBank . send them a private message.. if it's Original Sensible Seeds i'm sure they will fix the problem.. but i have a feeling it might be Sensible Seeds

Lucky I got mine from MJ Seeds Canada and did not have a problem. I just want to try seedbanks other than the old ones although they were first in the trade.
Lots of negative reviews although also with lots of positive ones so i could not make my mind which to believe.
Fortunately I went for a seedbank that really delivers.

received my black Friday order in 6 days to the east coast , no stealth or tracking method, small order, first order was returned to sender, they say they will reship when they receive,,,, so far they have treated me good. stay tuned for updates

Well, they made it right, but it was a very unpleasant experience. They re shipped requiring a signature, when I specifically asked them not to and they said no problem we can send airsure with no sig, which is fine, herbies uses airsure, it's all good. But instead they sent it priority from spain requiring signature. They also said they were sending some free seeds for the trouble but they did not. All in all it took about 6 weeks to get my correct auto seeds. They also sent me like 9 freebie seeds on the original order and all of them are white and look weak, so far two have died and it looks like the batch is a dud, I know it's the breeders fault but meh, just added to the frustration. Then of course the day after my original order they switched to giving out delicious seeds as freebies, go figure. So for my 200 bucks I got a bunch of bunk freebies and a total of almost 3 months to get everything. The saving grace is the "purchased" seeds are all good. Plus I would email and they would say we are sending today then 4 days and no tracking email nothing and this went on for 3 weeks.

I'm sure they are cool and legit, I just had one whopper of a bad time so It'll take a lot for me try it again.

ok ive used original sensible a couple times no drama then the orders stopped coming and the company was extremely elusive. I moved to herbies, not a single issue since, and Im in a hard country/state to get seeds.

Hopefully you got yours as promised.Got my order already from a Canada based seedbank.
I know the feeling whikle waiting for the seeds to arrive. But when they do, it's priceless.

original have allways been the best they give me freebies an even replaced a grinder the police took off me an they have a great seed bank all top strains an they have a great discreat packaging an quik service. Check them out

Ossc allways look after there fans they even give me a free grinder cos the police took the one they gave me.any trouble an they sort it A.S.A.P. Aaan they got some great seeds in there seed bank. Check them out.

Hello to all, Original Sensible Seed Comp is for sure the best seed bank, I've order 5 times and have always been very pleased. There is no other seed bank that gives away as many free b's. Germination has been great, if there was a problem it was grower era and not ossc fault. Some of the free b's turned out to be as good as it gets. Each order has "ALWAYS" been on time and never any problems. I've referred them to others and all of them have been very pleased. The information provided is very good and trust worthy, I know we can have problems with shipping, but its not the senders fault 99% of the time, it is the shipper (USPS). I hope you give them the opportunity to order from them again and see that 'yes' we can have problems but everything can be fixed with a little communication between seller and customer. I've got over 30 yrs of experience in the garden, and for sure the very best genetics have come from my orders for ossc.
