IKEA | Kitchen organizers | Jars, tins & food savers | SLOM

by the way, if seen such jars before in other stores too, but they went for 10 bucks and more so this is a bargain:mrgreen:

those are nice but a half gallon jar would be gbetter here is a link to half gallon mason jars. 6 for $10.99. Mason Canning Jars. Ball Half Gallon Mason Jars.
well i got a slightly different opinion one that one. the bigger the jar the more volume of moister you got and the more likely is it that mold will start to eat up your buds.
also, experience taught me that at some point you so stoned that you forget to close the jar and all the bud will dry up. with a small jar the damage done isn't to big, with big size jar- you do the thinkin;)

and as last reason, small jars can be stacked faster for curing and are easier to conceal and hide, and that is a damn good reason;)

Let me start by saying i am always in favour of a bargain, however i digress. Your jars should ALWAYS exhibit a pressure equivalent to your own muscles ie twist ons. Those clamp ons, imo, do not go on tight enough to present a longterm seal. so, i feel you should go for something thzat does. gl

mox does talk

....ja ja ja jeeeeezusssss

;let me end this by saying that i am totally high/drunk...but seriously, take my adive

mox, you high for sure;)

a screw-on lid suffer from the limitation that you need a good grip on the lid to close it off well and most of these lids are made from soft aluminum, and this gives in over time if tightened to the limit. so a bit high like you been or rheumatism or similar issue and you won't be able to close these up.

not so with clamp ones, everyone can get them close, there is always a way. they seal tight and the do so over time too. thats the reason why this jar type is still often used in labs;)

HOLY FUCKING SHIT, ...i just read this thread now and i couldnt believe it when i saw my post, i dont even remember typing it. For a split second i thought someone was hijacking my account lol. I was pretty fucking drunk last night, im not going to go on my computer anymore when im drunk...very scary

But still, i stand by my thread. Those clamp seals dont really tighten as much as the masons, not to mention that they cost a shitload and have an awkward shape for storage. Also, with masons you have the option of using a pump sealer thingy to increase the pressure...i cant remember where to buy them , but they're around.
