I tried to make this same point on a thread here on riu about aliens or some off topic, and people kept trying to say that I was the one committing the fallacy. My intent was that humans make fallacies fact, especially when that crowd turns on you.

I also agree with your conclusion on the simple fact that if 3 or more people agree (even if they have to clue on what they are talking about) becomes fact to the masses. Seen this over and over gave up long ago debating facts versus fiction to simple minded people that troll forums looking for self gradafication from a disorder as described.
