Yeah bud his true landrace stuff would be more of a hunt and take more time and space ideally anyway im sure you will find some nice stuff tho the old stuff has more character and depth to it imo i think you made the right choice going with the more worked stuff before you dive into the p1 lines as well
Thanks, and I totally agree with what you say. I would absolutely love nothing more than to pheno hunt with a bunch of landrace strains, especially those trippy tropical strains but my grow space is very limited. I think playing with the strains I have ordered I should find plenty of joy for now. I’m especially excited for the Michoacan 78 cross. I am also a fan of the early 2000 blues so I’m very excited to have a look at that too. It will take me time to look through what I’ve ordered, maybe I’ll get through it all, maybe I’ll just end up sitting on most of it but I will be sure to keep things posted.

I know a few who found nice plants in the last line you mentioned im sure u will like it i know from my own experience the cindy and less selected afghaan is nice too and when you say blues it makes me think of a uk skunk strain rather than blueberry yeah the old blueberry was very nice ive heard mixed things about the f5 from dj however yet to hear anyone slate the spanish continuation of it angus has so i reckon it might turn out better than the one from dj directly ironically

Would that be the Michoacan cross you know some nice plants come from yeah?

My main reasoning for the Cindy 99 was due to having grown some exceptionally strong Jack herer (Sensi’s) back in the day, It was honestly mind bending so had to add this on the off chance it contained something similar and if not at least I get to experience some Cindy

Yeah I totally get that, the term blues does or did usually refer to the blueberry skunk that used to do the rounds. Local to me we used to get blueberry from one supplier who had a cut (also called blues) but I believe this was the DJ short original (not Dutch passion) not sure was it an f5 or 90 or what it was but it was amazing. It eventually disappeared but I would love to experience it again. Hopefully I can find something nice in this Spanish continuation.

Ive only grown two single landrace type plants to date from RSC but the experience was great. One was an afghan mix seed, it was pretty wicked however it was small and scraggy with rather loose bud. The terp profile was like nothing I had experienced before though, maybe anaseed, maybe cat piss, maybe cough syrup, it was a smell I struggled to pin point, very sharp but very unique and the stone was surprisingly strong too. The other was mango Thai, it didn’t get to finish unfortunately as I had to work away but during vegetation a stem rub was absolutely humming of tropical fruit, I would love to play with that pool in big numbers but it’s just not possible.

Glad I found this thread and look forward to following along with everyone’s updates on RSC strains.

Yeah mate thats the line i was talking about and yes Afghans are very varied from sweet to the downright rank from tiny to 4 meters tall given the climate and space of course i have got nearly a couple of hundred of those mix plants you were talking about in the stash along with more than half there catalog problem is angus keeps getting more stuff in i want lol it's an ok problem to have plus he will always treat you well it kinda feels almost like your robbing him with the amount of freebies he sends i think the only other guy that sends more is csi for real angus is a decent guy doing good work trying to preserve all that stuff at a fair price

That’s nice to hear as I’m probably most exited to look play that strain and it might be first to pop.

I was hoping to order more of the mixed afghan, definitely nice to hold a bunch of those. Hopefully I’ll find something nice in the Afghaan 90 when the time comes.

Yep I totally agree with you there, great guy doing great things, need more people with a similar mind frame. I’m assuming I’ll get some free seeds as per normal, so fingers crossed there will be mixed afghan in there

Just thought I would post a little update on beans from RSC.

All received AAA+ also received the free 25 Nep and 5 Afghan mix seeds.

There was a slight issue tho, They sent me my order then the following day sent me my order again, they made an error sending them twice. I notified Angus and all is good.

So all in all I’m buzzing. I’ve decided due to limited grow space I’m going to first start playing with the cindy 99 and Blueberry lines. I’m not looking to experiment too much, I will be veg and hold parents, flower the cuts and see what I can find.

I will start a grow diary with detail on a separate thread but will drop bits and pieces in here when appropriate.

I'd love to try their Tirah some time!
Great hash so I imagine you will find some cool plants in that line if my memory serves me right in this is where the old seedbanks "Khyber sativa" comes from so like chitrali it will be diverse not just your average kush type thin leafs or thicker leaves some taller some smaller etc
