I don't even know what "reggie seeds" are but I do have a suggestion for you.

Bubblelicious from NirvanaShop. These buggers are bullet proof; have great smoke reviews. I'm growing my second batch - just had a couple last time and they turned out male (get feminized if you want to avoid this altogether).

Be sure to use the actual "NirvanaShop" - there are imitators. The real deal is inexpensive, reputable, and good beans.

Is this your first grow? I've given different clones to quite a few of my friends, it was there first grows, most of them died. On that note, practice on bagseed my friend! Otherwise, maybe some Lowryder:-P, or another auto flower strain, since you don't need any special light schedules. A step above that I'de recommend Afghan since it can take some abuse and stays reasonably small with a shorter flowering period than those Sativa's.:leaf:

bagseed is ok, it gets you some practice i guess, but you have no idea what kind of plant your going to get, could be some tall ass thing, could be a lowryder, you never know.

for 30 bucks, knowing what your supposed to be getting and what you got is a far better exercise for learning.

I wouldn't grow reggie seed... You'll end up with a plant that is too tall for your garden...

The toughest plant and easiest to grow that I know of is GodBud. She will eat as much as you can give her and grow in almost any medium. Very disease and insect resistant also. Great for a beginner...

besides sativa type is harder to grow than indica type. so u want indica if u see the quickness.
True from my experience, and with the longer flowering it gives you more time to screw up. Indica, Afghanica, or Ruderalis for quickness. If you have money to blow, buy a ruderalis strain such as Lowryder like I said, otherwise just use bagseed (find one out of a bag that gave you couchlock, should have stronger Indica tendinitises). But if you want to try something more advanced than those with a pedigree, try the Afghan I was talking about, or maybe Skunk #1. I also think Northern Lights was easy to grow, that's just me I guess, as I hear otherwise lmao. Maybe take that on if you want a 'challenge'.:blsmoke:

I did the "bagseed as practice" thing the first time. If I were to do it all over, I would go ahead and get some inexpensive, indoor-adapted beans like bubblelicious or a skunk variety and go that way. My bagseeds actually turned out to be a sativa-dominant that was fussy, needed very strong light, was long-flowering, and was very nute sensitive. We all managed to find synchronicity together over time, but a good indoor-adapted indica would have been a helluva lot easier.

Ultimately, though.. it's a weed. Most of the varieties will probably make it, whether because of you, in spite of you, or both.

If you don't mind spending a little, good genetics could make ur first grow an easier one. Like a feminized auto White Russian for instance. http://sensibleseeds.com/detail.php?ID=2505.
It's mold & mushroom resistant. You can't mess up light schedule 'cause it's an auto. It'll stay a manageable size and will be a good smoke...

Any seeds you could get a hold of will assist you in understanding how to grow Mj.. its not the seed but the experience you gain over time that really assists you in learning process of growing and new techniques you acquire with exp. Also a nice amount of reading will also assist you in your new hobby..

For my first i have been given 6 Grand Daddy, 2 L/Pursang (i believe is lemon pursang) & 2 Royal Revenge. All clones so none of the seeding and sexing.
I've had a quick scan about and couldn't find royal revenge, anyone any idea on it and the other 2? Are they good for a first timer?

Reggie is fine, but I wouldn't just get some off a mediocre bud, less it gives you a great body high, Then it should have good Indica traits for your first grow.

GodBud would be a great for a beginner from what i've read, totally agree. I also agree with the guy who talked about White Russian, the genetics are really stable too, and is one of my most favorite smokes!!! Really potent... If you can get your hands on some really hard to find TRUE clones, I suggest ATF, it takes a real beating, my Aghani Bomb supposably about replicates it's traits. ATF to me is more potent than White Russian. White Russian from what I know is a really high yeilder though, I read you can get a 1/2lb with and indoor plant, the ATF's i've worked with brought a 1/4lb. I plan on doing a smoke report with the Afghani Bomb, i'm crossing my fingers like the guy said it's the most potent bud on earth, but that's farfetched right?

Whatever you do, I recommend you have fun, as it should be fun (even with a little work;-)).

I have to jump on the bagseed bandwagon..... If you're using a cfl in a cupboard, then I'm guessing money is an issue...... Many noobs will make every mistake in the book.....so why kill seed you paid good money for? Get your chops with beans you can afford to lose. When you can go from bean to bong without commiting herbicide and have a smokable product.......then you can take advantage of the better genetics.

If you just "have to" order seeds..........then look for cheap indoor mixes, if available...........they're likely to be Indica dominant and you can get some killer genes at decent prices....might even stumble onto something extraordinary.....
To this day, the best plant I ever had was from a bag of some good weed..........Lost the strain 15 years ago and would kill to get it back. I've grown seeds from Sensi, Nirvana, Serious, and a few others I can't recall......would've traded 'em all for that one seed so don't be so quick to dismiss bag seed....from good weed, of course......
