I had to go out of town and my roommate said I'll water the babies, but then forgot to water the first two days but then watered them the next. so... I am gonna start some seeds of a sativa outdoor that bore about 20 seeds so hopefully one of them I start will either herm or be fem.
I'm not mad or anything just a bit disappointed. Maybe will shotglass a clone instead. I already have a cutting that is a known female bagseed in the humidome, so I'll update on that when it get transplanted.

You can clone them when they reach about 6 weeks old. A good sign that they r ready 4 cloning is that they will start growing alternating Nodes. This shows that they are mature, and can support a decent clone.
You can take as many clones as you can cut. But there are different schools of thought on how long a mother plant is good for.

ive been following this one for awhile now, and after seeing ninja's little bush i am intrigued, and
baaaahhh im moving soon so i cant start another crop but im sooo bored i decided to jump on this shot glass thing for fun since i cant ya know, do a real grow for the time being
the materials-
2 mid grade bagseeds, now germinating, water method
2 shot glasses, one short and squat, one tall and narrow. both shot glasses are 'doubles'
using some leftover ff organic soil from a previous grow
i will treat the soil with a slight dose of bloodmeal, mebbe 2g, mixed evenly throughout. i think i will do this to just one of the two, for experiments sake.
i also have some generic chelated iron aquatic plant bloom nutes i want to experiment with so i will use this as well on one plant. it worked awesome for the dwarf lillies in my aquarium so who knows, i will prolly go with 25% of the recipe to be cautious lol
will be using a single 46w cfl, i will start with a 4100k for veg and switch to a 3000k for bloom.
not sure on my veg schedule yet ive been debating 12/12 from the getgo just to see what happens as ive never done it before... any input on that?

No, alternating nodes are when the nodes of the plant don't come out of the main stalk at the same height anymore, but rather 'alternate' up the stem..
