The Sneekiest growbox EVER!

dont use foil it creates hot spots. use flat white paint it works great and doesnt take up any space or anything. i put my intake and exhaust on the back so it doesnt look any different from the outside. i put a layer of black panty hose over the intake hole so it doesnt let a lot of light out.

Hey mountainmist, how old are you again? You need to be 18 to have a membership here. If you are 18 get a job and move out, don't waste a couple months growing one plant just to produce 1.3 grams. Just my two cents.

do i have to have nutes for the plant to start flower?

i dont have any nutes and want to start 12/12 when its about a week or two old

iam 18 fresh outta high school but i have no job and am goin to commute to colllege so i live with them for now and i just want to get the hang of growing do i will not f up when i do full scale someday

In that box, I would go straight from seedling to 12/12. Just to try to keep the size down. You dont need nutes right off, Hell to be honest I dont think you have to have them at all, but I am new also, so I cant tell you this for sure. If you r gonna start using them, wait til 2nd or 3rd week of flowering, to prevent burn.

this grow is to experiment if this works then i will buy llowryder or dieselryder

when they get a lil taller u should turn the lights horizontal if possible or 1' T5 fictures on the walls, goodluck

Come on bro, be a man... So you apparently "smoke weed every day and dont give a shit." Take it from me, be strait up with your parents. Why risk destroying such a fundamental relationship when weed is the easiest drug you can possibly get. Furthermore, are you so desperate to smoke that you are actually considering growing in a stereo? And even if you dont like your parents, when you get kicked out you will have no one to live with, you will have to provide for your self, and potentially they can call the cops on you. Grow up son.

True, you are seriously limited by the hight of your box to pretty much lowryders, and then only the short ones, cause some get to be 2 feet tall, without the pot and dirt.

Also you said you were growin' "Mountain Mist," and if that is a normal strain then it ain't gonna fit in your lil' speakerbox. Do like spittin' said and stack another one on top. If you cut the holes right you could get a completely even transition. then when you mount floros you can get 'em a couple feet long and run 'em up and down in the corners. Put like 3 warm spectrum CFLs in the top for flower. Not as good as HPS or MH but with that setup you have little choice. be sure intake is on the bottom and exhaust is on top, because heat rises. otherwise you defeat the purpose. other than that, please be careful man I know alot of people hate on you for the reason that your parents don't know. but please do them a favor and make sure you don't get them in trouble. I grew in high school, but my parents knew about it, and helped out when I was out of town. Also I shared with them of course, so it was a little different, lol. be careful, I can't say it enough, pretend it's a top secret military project, for your eyes only! no one elses!

what will you do with smell?

why the fuck is everyone trippin off of you having a STEALTH grow in your folks' house...? if he had his own spot he wouldnt have try and stuff that shit into a speaker to hide it. real talk tho, if you stick with this make sure you do it right and you wont have problems. u got a messy room or you keep your shit tight...?

does anyone know of a good way to help with the smell for for a small grow like that. im doing the same thing and im lookin for a way to stop the smell.

get one of those ozium misters thats set on a timer... or you could make a thin carbon scrubber to cover your exhaust. leave a window open...theres a bunch of stuff you could do, but the best part is that since it's so small you dont have to use crazy equipment.

i was considering using field of dreams' idea with a window screen holding an air freshener (or a piece of deodorant like field of dreams) and putting it on the inside in front of the exhaust fan so the air is sucked by the air freshener first before its blown out of the speaker. i also light incense in my room too so thats a plus. and i might put one of those air sanitizers that spray every 15 minutes or so. i have a question about lights tho. what would be the best way to fit enough cfls in the speaker so they grow a little bud but dont put off a lot of heat. any help would be great. thanks

i maintain that the bst design in this scenario would be to make it like a phototron... look it up and let me know what you think bro, saves the most space and will definately give you sum buds if you grow sum dwarf weed...

do 1 foot flouros make them bud tho? i was reading on this site and it said they only add height and make it long and stretched and dont make it nice and compact.

i believe if you have enough light it shouldnt really matter if they are t5 or spiral CFL. i just say that because you can fit so many more in there and cover so much more foliage with direct light than you could with the spirals...you could theoretically line all of the walls and ceiling with the fuckers! i have seen some pretty damned decent start to finish grows with t5. thats just the way i would go about it, there very well may be a better solution. the inside of that speaker would look pretty nifty tho...
