Oh yeah… I don’t know why but higher pressing temps, 200f instead of 180 made for better taste for this strain. Appearance is almost the same. The first sample was nauseating but maybe I am just getting used to it because it is good now. At first was a little dissappointed thinking I messed it up by getting dusty but Im pretty happy with this sample.

I vaped it at max temp and tasted the same but a little better. Just a nauseating strain I guess but it is nothing like real gg4. Pretty sure I had the Joesy cut before, its the true gg4, a real wow strain.

Just did more math, to break down the earnings it is less than 1$ a gram flower and if I yield 4-5 gs rosin thats 6.8$ to 7.5$ a g rosin. Not bad, last press of store bought made the rosin 45$ a g.

3.7 ball of space jam or roswell. I did about a gram of testing so that is about 4.7gs worth of rosin out this bag of weed. I smoked a gram and bagged a gram to give it away to share the love.

Thinking of calling it wake bake sauce. Since I dont have a lot and this is like 34$ in grow costs being like 7.5$ a gram rosin or under a dollar a gram flower, I will just wake bake with it to make it last. Even if I had a bunch of my own supply, I would just wake and bake with this to make it last.

Yea, it tastes pretty good now. No complaints, just needed a higher temp pressing to cook up some of the terps and make a different profile, a more burnt one. Low temp press and dab was nauseating but this is perfectly fine, just wake baked a fat dab. Max temp dab.

About to enter mid flower any day, tops are bulbing up. Really stretchy strain. Forced me to make a whole new canopy but that is cool so long as it works as it would switch it up a little. 6 and half weeks old from seed. Almost 3 and half weeks flower.

Fed 4 times a day, 1.1 EC PH drift from 5.8 to 6.2. 72F and 45%RH with 10% drift. Strip lights on 100%, ufo dimmed to about 25%. This canopy is going to be like a jungle gym. Half the canopy was empty so super cropping exposed much more nodes to lights.

Connected my drainaway tray to condensate bucket of my main grow so it runs itself. Set that up couple weeks ago which is when I started feeding 4x a day.

Next grow I plan to have it feed of my main reservoir of main grow with a ph controller, that way it couldn’t be easier to run this cabinet.

95gph pump wont work consistantly when bucket is about 45% full rendering it a pita. So I connected this plant to my main nutrient reservoir. Works consistantly.

Well into mid flower, pistols shootin out everywhere. First buds and sugar coming in and it has a diesel smell, I think it will smell/taste great! It might be a squirter too with rosin.

Taming this one was not easy! Being hydro I think my yield will easily improve, let alone if I got the canopy full. This is only half of the canopy in range.

11/22 was 6 weeks since first pistol spotted. Pics of plant entering late flower. Can look at planting the next bean in next few weeks.

Holy cow… Hydro power!! I about plucked 1/4th my last harvest equivalent just to “open it up.” I grew mold before ok… Not gonna happen again. I was just movin stuff around to find there is freakin yield EVERYWHERE.

Bud everywhere I have to prune it so it dont mold so I get to see what harvesting at 90% white hairs vs 90% orange is like haha. Probably will smoke fine, maybe even press rosin! Now I get to redeem myself with hang dry and instead of bagging it to cure, I press at 64% RH.

Tellin ya, had to be done and its still too packed but much better. I had no idea I had flowers so darn big. Plant wants to put its dominance in areas I dont want it and vice versa. But this, bud on bud contact its just a no, mold WILL form and yield isnt the goal here. Too new a grower to have something to prove, just having fun.

I did this before and its like one of the few ways you can see budrot indoors by asking for it otherwise it dont grow that easy. But this is how I got it last time, at least I get to smoke/dab it. You cannot see well from front but its appropriately filled everywhere else, the center is just too packed.

You gotta think, the buds are nowhere near done swelling so this is pretty shockingly large a yield for such low ppfd.

I just saw the edit, 45 watt strip light and 65w ufo dimmed to 25% or less just to assist with ppfd, the strip lights alone arent bright. Or at least this 3k resolution light makes it a dark gold in there but says yellow light is good for flower development and can only choose one resolution.

This run has me more accustomed to a sativa leaning pheno for next time will act sooner and make a better canopy.

Yea sativas are bad in microgrows i had the same problem panicked broke the whole plant it was a huge mess in the end.

Shes a dripper! Looking forward to the full chop. It was 9.5 gs but dried out further to 6gs but flash cured in 48hrs. Heat and low RH really does mess stuff up, the bud is grass smell but the rosin wasnt which was always curious if rosin can carry that over. Maybe it can but not always.

Plant when alive though has diesel and citrus smell. Hopefully the bud is supposed to be that way when harvested correctly. Will keep 65/60 f/rh next time or 60/60. Just smoked a bowl of it, not bad but clearly not done drying, not lighting up and smoking properly. But its 44rh bag test.

Cant really review the smoke because I had to torch it to get it lit so doesnt count. Not ready for consumption.

The pic of the 57rh in bag was attempt to follow the pinned how-to cure in that section but failed. Almost had it, over dried by just hours before I could save it and move to cure. It was 73rh, just needed to slowly burp to cure zone.

The rosin got me zooted, its going to be good stuff if goes well. Tastey and potent. Was thinking this whole time how crazy lucky I am to yield 15% rosin last time and theres no way this will do it. Not all strains do it but did not select these two considering if they will yield rosin.

It does say on a quick search that chemdog and gg4 strains and derivatives tend to make rosin. Next runs were carefully picked out and are sure to squirt at the press.

At 8 weeks flower today from first sign of pistol. Last time I abided by the 12-13 week or 120 day rule for autos. That if theyre not done then cull them. That it is plenty of time and something just aint right. Another sign I go by is that its already twice the “from seed” time frame by breeder.

I consider this a lucky screw up but may just push it another 2-4 weeks. Or until I see mostly orange hairs. Right now its got areas ripening fast and areas staying white with full light or minimal light. Areas it just threw the towel in and stayed a twig or smaller sized and no new white hairs.

The risk of mold is climbing. I may just chop earlier. Like week 10. I got my dry area primed for it.

Edit I smoked more over course of a week and it burned better each time. No grass smell or taste. In fact tasted some of the strain. A tad bit harsh but it should of dried longer if it could. I practiced on some larf again and think I got the process down which should smoke much better.

Smoked a bowl just now, hard to review taste because a lot of terps gone and cut before peak terp prod. But woodsy and a little citrus. A bit harsh to be honest but just a bit. Probably from messing up the process and early cut.

Just smoked a little of store bought just to compare, I almost just about stopped smoking weed to dab instead for a year. Had to see if it was just me and compare and yea this is a bit harsh. Lets see how the harvest turns out with my best effort drying/curing.

What I said stands though it wasnt horrible. I had weed give me an athsma attack from home grown. Thats the thing though I am extra sensative therefor so could be less than you think if you smoked some. Shoot the dry/cure is important. Easy to mess up.

Yea early chop can effect taste but I wouldnt say makes it harsher other than more stem to calyx ratio. My last harvest was pretty smooth smoking but no cure. 10% white hairs. I infact will see if early cut makes harsh smoke soon, like I said I have larf right now from diff plant almost in cure zone. 100% white hairs.

Harvested today. Took like all day wet trimming. I just couldnt go any further with buds so packed in there and now I know its not just me, there really was a lot of bud in there.

Im thinking 2-4 oz. About to pop another bean, I dont have the next one ready. I thought I was going to ride this out another 2-4 weeks but wow, glad I didnt.

I dont see any mold anywhere. Going to turn most of it to rosin.

2.21 oz. Not yielding rosin right away, might be a smoking bag. It smokes good. Much better then the last sample. Dried and entered cure window at 58rh and stems are starting to snap. Has this diesel citrus taste. Gets me baked but have a tolerance for concentrates.

It was 58rh last night bag test in reference to water weight. Its got a lot of it. Needs time to sweat in jar and cure/dry a little more. Size able buds, they dried out to still be decent. Too wet to smoke and therefor a bit harsh. Just need to slowly dry/sweat it out for next week.

Jarred a good amount for long term cure and set some aside for rosin because I just wake baked the rosin and wow its tastey and good. Last press the bag blew and rosin wouldnt collect like prime rosin would. Something aint right if you have to scrape it off.

But this was perfect. Pressed less pressure and moved fast, 1 to 1 and half mins. I must have a few dabs of jam, that would be cool since thats the main goal. I would like some artifact laying around that I made and can smoke at any time. I just dont want a lot because Im a hash vaper.
