Can you share what you find "derp" about citing something with video evidence, and award accolades as recently as within weeks of today? That isn't a good source? Can you provide a better source as to positive results on methods that are contrary to those GML used for the cup wins?

maybe the practice of "flushing" needs to be defined here?
hell I flush every time I water right? a few drops exit the bottom=flushed!
I add chicken shit to the top and water when dry. I add a scoop o shit to the dirt every couple weeks now
(like the directions say) and stop a couple weeks before my expected finish. At that time I still see
composted chicken shit in the topsoil every time at harvest.
Ha ! I'm feeding to the end after all ! and flushing for two weeks !
i"ll be damned....

my grows are Water Only the whole ride,, in No Till Organic Soil,,, i guess I flush from start to finish eh? hahha

No it does not. not enough to compete with any other horticultural light source I have researched.

And you should stop pre disposing of people's comments before you know what they know.

And if you like we can get into the fact that plants transfer photosynthesis to the strongest wavelength and that is why hps gives more growth regardless of spectrum.

T-5 are weak all the way across the board.

If we are talking aquarium bulbs designed to penetrate water and grow reef. That has nothing to do with lighting a Grow room. It is specific to its purpose. Silly to pretend it works better. Or real horticultural long standing businesses would use them. Of course they use hid and now some led.

Hang up some fluorescent fixtures across a Greenhouse ceiling and see what you get on a cloudy day.

Plenty of light for humans to see but you might have well turned on the cfl's in your kitchen as far as plant growth is concerned.

They have to be ridiculously close for best results.

I find it "derp' that people can be so easily "fooled" or "brainwashed" into certain things by a youtube video or a rigged cup,DERP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not arguing flushing or leaching or whatever here but calcium, magnesium and the rest of the micros. And for NPK phosphorous. All are basically salts as far as the roots are concerned. And an ec meter.

I think "salts" is a just a label.

All of the above could clog roots and cause cross deficiency or antagonation.

I think salts really refers to minerals.

But I sure feel safer and better with my own than what is even being shared or sold regularly now.

Something is always better than nothing. Hell I smoked a lot of bowl resin before I started growing.
But I do prefer cannabis that hasn't been overfed, which is why I'm not a big fan of dispensaries.
I've also seen it go too far in the other direction. I've got a buddy who never feeds enough and his final product could definitely use more sulfur. His fancy LED rigs usually bleach a few bud tips on each plant.

cannabis can take more pk in the last few weeks, so it's nuts starving it ... i recon only a consiuer can taste the difference if there is any .. anyways i heard it only takes 3x the size pot to flush, which would mean you could do it last few days .. i dunno tho.

An I've noticed something past few months ... you know that rumor cut your plants in the dark before you dry because it gets rid of chlorafil ? well every time i turn the lights off in my room and i go back in 5 mins later ... it smells of cut grass, then 15 mins later .. weed.

is the cut in the dark myth ?

You cut at the end of the dark cycle because starches are in the root zone and terpenes are at their highest.

Maybe with cmh and led but it is not cost effective in leds.


I'm not claiming t5 to be a superior light either. Just saying. More than one way to skin a cat.
