The Type Of Weed Called "Sess"

i love seeeeeessssssssss it makes me retarted high

Well as for the soda and pop debate, I live int he South and can say that some people just say soda, or soft drinks, or soda pop, or just pop...depends on who you ask...seems to be like a family mannerism around my way....As for the cess or sess debate I have heard neither term but perhaps it works the same as the above debate...Also one man's trash is another man's treasure...I do not mind the cheap weed at all...do I like the good weed with a name every now and then...? Of course depending on what it is...but alot of it gives me like an instant mega anxiety attack...so I stick to the stuff with no name that is full of seeds and stems and I don't even mind all that much....not to mention weed with a name is uber expensive...thus the growing...since some stuff helps more with certain things and what not...
I figure if I grow my own that is supposed to be good for anxiety then that will be better than my twice monthly random grab bag ya know....

i can assure you that absolutely NO ONE from the northeast would EVER utter the word "pop" in reference to a carbonated beverage. it's either soda or tonic depending on your age. this equating new england to new york and the northeast to the midwest pisses me off. the midwest and the northeast are NOTHING alike. people from new york and people from boston DO NOT speak with the same dialect. at all. this "north" and "south" crap needs to stop. there are 3 distinct categories of "the north". there's new england/northeast, the midwest, and the pacific northwest. we are all unique. stop telling me that my neighbors say "pop". this ain't wisconsin.

Ya up in Toronto Canada pre hydro days it was Jamaican or Jamaican compressed then sess. For a few years thats all that was around. The rastas called it sess forever only thing theyll smoke ya. Dark green. Lots of smoke. And its not shit. Its an awesome high but irie high. Great for outdoors in the grass or by the water. You’re high but just high not trippin. New gen need to get their brain twisted too much I dont need to feel like Im on acid been there i just wanna feel happy, chill, buzzin the fuk out hard....thats sess

In my experience it's pop in the north and soda in the south. I have family that would visit from Michigan and when they ask for pop in fl no one knows what it is lol

I always just thought it was a mispronouncing of sensimilla (pronounced "sessimilia", or "sess), or "weed without seeds"

Back in the day, people just called weed whatever their friends called it, & we didn't have the internet to check the proper spelling or pronunciation of illegal shit lol

And yeah I’ve never heard it called soda in Canada. Always called pop.

What type of weed are you or the "new gen" smoking that feels like your trippin?

I grow really good fucking weed as does everyone here and I have yet to be anywhere close to what your are talking about from smoking it.

I remember the day hydro came out in my area 1984ish. It was clearly different. Lighter than all the naturally grown weed before then and it packed a huge punch. Tried every hydro since. Worked in a grop grew and tried it all. Not saying its bad. Its just more intense. Fine I smoke 1/3 of a skinny at a time even after 43 years of smoking cuz I just like to get high not wrecked. Ive asked guys at dispensaries I want something chill like sess. One guy said your the first guy thats ever asked that everyone wants to get wrecked and go into couch lock. Last guy I asked said whats sess lol? Anyway sess isnt shit. Shit weed is what we call “china bud” but its actually grown by the vietnamese. They include the solar leaves and dont know what they’re doing. Some of my hard core smoke friends (the kinda guys who gotta smoke every 90 minutes no matter where they are) get the bomb shit. Its got that sharp perfume smell. I just do a few draws and im good. I get way fkd up on it. One guy fired one up and i swear it musta been laced i was so paranoid walking home i took the train tracks home lol. It aint weed when you gotta take the tracks home haha. Just wanna feel irie.

Not quite right, it actually varies man-o

For the most part it's roughly:

North = Pop
East / MidWest / West = Soda

South = Varies, I know for a fact Texas(native) is soda, but I've met people from Alabama I think that said when they lived there is was pop.
