You can make them yourself pretty easily .... loads of videos on YouTube I bought a 20 pod one tho didn fancy making one
I have in the past (probably photos on here lol) but i prefer to buy them, I have never lost a snip in them and can hold clones in them for about 6 weeks max under t5s with topping and root trimming...very handy for pheno hunting....

I found if your ever short on space you can always put 2 snips in 1 collar works great also....e.g 80 snips in a 40 site cloner....

If going into coco I prefer shorter legs, if going in my head stash rdwc system they can transfer straight over.....

I use rubber floor mats to replace the pucks (there expensive imo) and now use them as collars in the net pots that go into the rdwc system....so there is no media in the net pot (pebs etc).....

I watched a thing on TV last week, Micheal Portillo, architecture the railways built.

He visited a place, East Crawling or Cawling?
85% of the words apples originate from East crawling root stock, apparently it's the root stock that dictates leaf production/amount, yeild and flavor size etc.

Naturally I can't help thinking if I grafted the same strain to two different root stocks would it grow any differently.
I would like to see a snip grafted to a tomatoes root ball

Do you add any nutes? I run 1/4 base mix and find they root slightly faster (8-10days strain depending)
No nutrient just tap water, rooting usually occurs 9/12 days.

I started with 2x 12" stones and a 4x pump but the noise was a bit annoying, i tried a power head pump to agitate the water instead and that worked equally well minus the noise penalty.

The pump adds heat though, so i use that when its colder and the air stones if it's summer.

I'm planning to try grafting to see if it has any bearing with weed, i don't think it does but I'm wanting to try grafting anyway, I've been wanting to make a tri pheno mum, just to do it.

I tried grafting about a month ago but the joint dried out it didn't take?
I have read a few things on it, I did try it once....I made a v and inserted the snip...it seemed to work but when I removed the duct tape only one side of the v had started to take, they separated and that was the end of that lol.

Its possible i did hear that the branches you graft become infertile from what i heard your better using a sativa for rootstock as they produce more roots ive read about it never did it with cannabis myself though i have did it with trees and some other plants it sounds like a good shout for us in the uk from the angle u can keep many mums and all on the one plant to keep plant numbers lower rather than many different mothers i even seen some guys on icmag grafting autos onto pure sativas as it helps initiate flowering faster due to the flowering hormones supplied from the auto graft so it definitely can be done

What's everyone's take on this ...... I know a lot of company's produce f1s but I think these ones they're trying to say will produce the same bud consistantly throughout the pack you buy ? Or am I reading the article wrong and not understanding it .....
Thats cos they trying to confuse people its nothing new or special lol theres some variability in all f1s less so than f2 of course for along time f1s dominated the market cos vigorous and better yielding but true f1s are rarer these days vs polyhybrid crosses imo thats what most seed banks/breeders put out now think they just trying to confuse less clued up stoners into thinking its new or special lol

So you ain't gna get a uniform crop ? I planted 5 f1 seeds the last run and 3 smell sort of the same terpy combo one smelt completely different to them all and 1 was utter shite no smell but it gets you stoned it's a strange one

OK I've got a test pile of cheese dipz dry sift, what's the kinda standard procedure with it now?

Should i hand press it or an oven bag with a gentle heat, freeze it? _20230119_043336.JPG
I keep the cheese dipz and blueberry twist separate for a treat :bigjoint:

I've started with a 150 screen I'll try the catch from it with a 120 and see what gets caught up?

Glass mate not plastic cos you use boiling water to heat it for ease and mainly cos it decarbs the hash so everything is fully available when you smoke it once its done pressed kief is pressed kief its not hash unless you mash it up and decarb it imo

Honestly mate had i known how simple hash making can be I'd have done it years ago.

A 200/220 micron screen gives you a big pile of hash from stuff that would normally go in the bin, what's more you can buy a 1x1mtr 200/220 micron screen for less than a fiver or any other size screens.
A set of bubble bags are a cheap option these days you won't regret the investment.

The cheese dipz after a few weeks didn't look so blue it blended in with others?

My best guess, that plant was 2-3 weeks ahead of the others, the others were going through that hungry af phase (1.8ec) soon after flipping, I'm guessing i was on the edge of overdoing it with nutrients hence the colour, i didn't give a thought at time tbh, it was only after it lightened up i realized my mistake.
