Thats something ive never picked up with the gg4 in the taste/smell myself i used to love the garlic pheno of shiva shanti 1 for that also chem d has a bit of that going on i find some bhangi haze phenos kinda are onion smelling / tasting almost too i found tbh its something thats less common vs back in the day i think those kinds of flavour/smell profiles
No one really growing any haze strains these days .... I've been a sucker to the hype strains but going through breeders there's not many with stock of older strains most have some sort of cookies crossed to a zkittles these days

Haze strains and sativas still grow, but I haven't seen many others uk chaps doing them. Afew grow them amo types but the ones that go round I hardly class them as haze really. Wish there were more folks doing the sativas here. Even a decade back you could find nevils cutting of the mango c5 and his ssh here, cant find them no more.

Yeah oddly enough theres more options for the purer hazes these days than there has been for a while i mean commercially available rn you got tom hills line via madmac oldtimers line and i believe huba seeds now offers original haze too u think u would see it more i guess folks just dont have the patience or realise what there missing

Unless you're growing for your personal stash not many people want the long flowering strains .... I grow and dry in the same area so if I was solely growing the sativa it would be okay but growing another shorter flowering strain and one of them wouldn't work for me ... variety is the spice of life that's why I wouldn't monocrop the one strain if you don't like it you gta get on the street weed for a while :wall:

I just find it easier remove the light then dial in your heater and air circulation and you get perfect control for a 2 week dry it's what I was shown when I first started growing I've not got big enough space for seperate rooms I have a smaller tent but if I'm growing in a 2x4 I need something the same or bigger to dry in I thought drying in the tent it was grown was the normal thing

i use one thats only for drying its a grow tent but never been grew in personally i grow in rooms or big cupboards i dont use tents i like my vents hard ducted etc and spare room to move around the plants i handwater too so yeah just what im used to i like it colder than most for my dry stage as well all i put in the tent is a wee tiny fan facing down at the floor not on the buds for air circulation and on that tents intake is just another bigger pc fan and the outs hooked up to a extracter and carbon filter so when that tents shut u barely smell a thing till u open the doors and the whole place stinks i position the tent so the intakes facing a slightly open window as u know our weather isnt super hot so i find this does me well as u say mate we all do what works for us like u say how u taught will be a factor too also on a side note u say u never monocrop i actually do sometimes i kinda feel you get to know a variety better if thats all your growing plus you can cater to its own preferences without clashes that way too i dont do it all the time just with the finicky stuff more or if i was growing a longer flowering strain

It what you like and how you do it everyone is different ... I would monocrop and have done in the past but I was growing for financial gain then im growing for personal smoke this day and age so variety is a must .... saying that I could always throw an auto or 2 in the mix to add variety

I think the choice of cuttings in my area dictates the way I've grown aswell ... all that was available was cheese and cheese and more cheese but none of it actually is " cheese " that's why I went the seed popping way stupid thing is I got friends that grow but won't take cuts I've found because they don't want to risk what they don't know :wall: Another one is I live in council house so being able to break everything down on short notice is a mustI have the bi monthly boiler check this month which is a ball ache everything has to go out
Of the house into the shed for a couple of hours while they pitch around the house
