The UK Growers Thread!

The EC is going in at 1.9 and coming out in the run off at 2.4. I guess I've got a nutrient lockout and I am feeding too much. Do you know how I should correct it? Should I drop the EC to 1.5/1.6?
Hey bud, what I'd do is lower the ec to like 0.4/0.5ec and run the system long enough to lower the ec in the run off.

It can sometimes take a lot of nutrient to rinse a pot down so you might have to top up the system and run it again.

I'd aim to make the run off circa 1.0ec± then feed them with fresh 1.5/1.6ec.

My tap water is 0.5/0.6 EC (it's hard water) so should I feed at 1.0 EC to bring it down to about 1.5 EC/1.6 EC? Just so there's a little bit of nutrients in the water that I am feeding her with? and then start feeding at 1.5/1.6 EC afterwards?

I've snapped a few pics earlier, I'm loving this 12-12 from seed business.

They're taking a bit longer than previous crops under 11-13.

I tied them down this time so I thought the added vegitive growth from 12-12 wouldn't go wrong and indeed it didn't but its taking longer for it, if you look at previous crops they were almost harvestable at 7wks.

Yes bud that'll work, I only suggest 0.5± to save you hassle having to repeat rinsing but 1.0ec will work fine.

Gorgeous! You’re killing it. What’s the lady with the purple red stems, her colors are especially Beautiful.

Absolutely mate i don't disagree with that it was a totally idiotic thing to do, fkg idiots.

Stupidity aside no one was hurt or lost anything they pose no threat to anyone, i think a lengthy prison sentence would be harsh.
I'd fucking shoot the cunts personally.

If they want notoriety they can have it.

Then again , I've got far more time for trees, nature and history than I have for people.

Present company excluded of course.

I flushed her with 10 Liters at 1.0 EC and the last bit of run off came out at 1.7 EC. Should I flush her again later on when I feed next? Or do you think I should start feeding now @ 1.6 EC?
I would rinse the pot down more, it's emerging at 1.7 so it's picking up/leaching 0.7ec if you increase the ec to 1.6ec I'd expect its going to leach approx the same amount ±

Ideally I'd look to rinse it lower than the nutrient I was intending to use to allow a bit leeway type thing.

Cheers dude, I will give her another flush later on tonight and report back what the EC is coming out at.
