Sup weed nerds? Just wanted to stop by and show you some cheese quake that I recently finished. Let me tell you guys this has easily became one of my new favorite strains! I now feel like Dave from Weeden, "Cheese all the time." lol It has a really unique cheese funk with a sweet grape exhale.

You can take a clone as soon as u want to just like Sub tops his seedlings. Usually after about a month under HID light they will start to show(Use a magnifier of some sort at least 10x to spot the sex a little quicker) Peace:leaf:

I take my cuts in all stages, even later bloom. I would not recommend taking cuts in bloom unless you plan on spending a little extra time reverting them back to VEG mode. If you fail to do this, you get really funky looking growth and tons of lower branches and it effects overall yield big time. It's always best to take em in Veg and I feel its preferable to wait at least till they get the fourth set of nodes and clip towards the bottom. That's just me tho. But technically you can take em whenever you want as long as they arent too small.

ace, c.q., vortex....can't lose...
With me it's Chernobyl and Space Dawg being my favorite. Timewreck next up for bat tho.
I really liked Agent Orange, SpaceQueen, A13BX, and the shorter pheno of Jacks Cleaner II. Some of the greatest smoke I've ever had in my life.

Something just tells me tho that Timewreck is going to be very special. Idk why but I can feel it in my bones. I have yet to have Vortex and wish I could try it but I went way past the seed budget this year. I have had a go at Pandoras Box with a 5 pack I bought, but grew 4 males, only one seed left!! Just some bad luck there probably. Usually when I grow TGA strains I get 8 females and 2 males out of a ten pack. I think PB was a fluke.

But Timewreck is gonna be soakin soon. Some Qush too. Dank shizz.

I still have 3 beans from the elusive TGA Honeymoon pack I wanna germ. Nothin to it but to do it. I had a killer keeper from that pack. Great stuff.

quick question tho.... is The TGA soil available in yet, or just the concentrated Nutrient pack thats ready to mix with wormcastings and base soil????? i know he said the nutrient pack was available but im just wondering if he mentioned that the complete Super Soil mix was also available.

I highly suggest you check out the weed nerd show (youtube name: Subcool420) You can't find this kind of info anywhere else. Subcool is one of the nicest dudes around. I dont know subcool one bit, so this is my unbiased opinion.

Hey Sub, since u said ur not entering the cup in a few weeks, do u have any plans to enter one in the near future?
sub has stated that the competition aspect of entering the cups causes a lot of stress for him.......and says the events are much more enjoyable for him not to.....imho, tga has nothing to prove to anyone anyways....and imo most cups are political/money/ego driven anyways......props to him for concentrating on having fun and keeping a positive vibe with the people attending........ i can tell you one thing....sharing a bowl with a cool breeder would go a hell of a lot further with me, than watching one from a distance who placed....you dig?

Yeah Winning a Cup not high on my wish list.
Back a few years ago I tried to win one strictly on quality of the flowers and it taught me that just about anyone with enough effort can buy a Cup and just not a driving force for me.

I been around these scene a very long time and were very happy with our place in the industry and thats plenty of reward for me.

I have tried cup winning breeders/genetics and I see no real difference in the experience, it's still hit and miss, the only difference seems to be arrogance. This leads me to believe that the qualities recognized by giving someone the cup are not qualities that factor into the usefulness of the genetics. It's based purely on style and sensationalism. It does nothing to give objective indication to growers about which genetics stand out, which makes it useless to those not participating. The qualities I value in a breeder are self evident in TGA. (and some others) Work ethic, humbleness, conscientiousness, transparency, accountability, these are the qualities which seem to produce a consistently productive breeder/grower experience.

I figure many people will be entering TGA Gear. They normally do, right? Didn't sub say that a grower placed in the most recent Oregon or Washington cup? Wish I could fly out to hang for a few days but not in the cards this year. Maybe in the near future..

Are there any TGA strains that were not made with Space Queen? It seems like every TGA strain has Space Queen genetics in it somewhere.

space dude (male space queen), JTR, Querkle and vortex are the 4 main males that are used in sub's breeding (well the seeds that come from tga). And yeah, all of them have had a taste of space queen...

most of them have some s.q. in them....... because sub found an incredibely dank space queen male (space dude), that worked exceptionally well to breed with, but now he said he is searching for the next dank stud to carry the torch into the future.....it will be a very tall order to beat space queen as a breeder male imho.

Its also the fact I breed by first creating a new strain to find a male in.
This means there is always one common denominator.

okay cool, thanks for the replies. I asked because I'm trying to figure out which strains buy. I keep changing my mind but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with either a 10 pack of Space Bomb or a 5 pack of Vortex and a 5 pack of Chernobyl.
