you asked if smoking in the room would help. so yes, that was the answer.
how about i give you some information and you take is as you like.

if you were to sit in a medium sized room for 30 mins or more without air exaust, you could easily get the Co2 PPM over 1000.
get a few buddies in there shooting the shit and you just add more co2.

me and my roomate would work in our 10x10 flower for 15 mins and get the PPM to near 1500. from ambient.
as your grow sits now, you do not need much more than about 900 PPM IMO.

My advice. Let it be until you can afford a burner/tank and the accessories needed. You will be much better off.

What does smoking with your plants do? Is there anything they can take from the smoke the same as regular carbon dioxide? I've heard of a forest fire making new plants growth up to 3ft in 1 night, just because of the levels of carbon dioxide made from the fire, mixed with the richness of soil (slash and burn method), and the temperature/humidity after the fire.

You better put down that blunt you had to get them chicks to roll for you since you can't. Reread what you said you asked if there are other components to smoke that could cause a spurt in growth.

"Is there anything they can take from the smoke the same as carbon dioxide?" last time I checked that question is about other things LIKE carbon dioxide not a question ABOUT carbon dioxide. Have a beautiful day buddy ;)


And just so your not lost....we pointed out smoke clogs the leaf's pours so the answer is no.

Interesting data -- perhaps a better alternative CO2 boost system would be keeping a few caged pets in the grow room... :) just keep gerbil/hamster/ferret cages suspended over the plants ;)

Ya, I don't understand what you guys are talking about, but I'm starting Dairy Queen next after Apollo 13 bx. Did you see Geekmikes video of his? Pretty impressive, I must say, it's what I like to see. I'm certain my tastes are right in line with what Weed Nerds like. The last and only time I have used outside genetics was Brothers Grimm 12 years ago. I'm pretty picky.

Sup Nerds, Before I got a co2 moniter, I didn't realize how much co2 you add by breathing when entering your growroom(an enclosed one) Now I'm thinking of installing an exhaust just for this purpose( when entering the growroom) because by the time I finish watering my plants or doing whatever in the grow room the co2 level is way above 2000 ppm. Is this something I should worry about(high co2 levels) probably not because I never did before I had a way to measure co2 ppm....If you had nothing to do all day but talk with your plants, you are giving your plants all the co2 they need and probably more. Peace

I was giving Carbon Dioxide as an example of something, and asking if there was maybe anything else good in smoke. Like Nitrogen or something.

CO2 is good for your plants, you can't really have too much. Unless it's liquid or solid CO2, then it can get too cold.
