Love the pic compilation of Amsterdam. I was just there in November for the cup. Cup kinda lame everything else about Amsterdam I totally dug. Headed back in about ten days. Got a highly classified mission to fullfill there then home.

Advice for new breeders? My great grandfather use to say, "don't insult anyone unless your ready to hit them". And I think that is probably the best advice I could offer.

On another note you might remember the picture I put in of the bowl method of safe high end oil recovery. Using grain alcahol rather then butane.

Well some people that tried it told me they had low returns with the procedure. And I would say, that would be correct if your extracting only the high end. (from bubble or sift rather then bud and leaf)

Meaning here's the rest of the oil.

This extraction is done by using grain alcahol. The product being extracted from, is fan leaf (large and small) a bit of trim, and some spent bud, that has been sifted twice.

So pretty much the crap most people would toss away (or wouldn't use), after they made sift or bubble hash etc. (but at the same time it's the crap that usually is used in the make of BHO. That you wouldn't find in bubble or sift generally)

I would grade the product I made as average, not that impressive in flavor, but fairly potent, and while not having a "strong" flavor, it did have an over all nice taste.

I could see, if you mixed the high and low end honey together, it would prolly be a pretty good product...

But of course that doesn't explain how I did it. Well, I took all the crap material, made sure it was very dry and ground. Then put it in a container for several hours with some grain alcahol. I poured it through some nylon screen. Then took the liquid and placed in on plates to dry. As it drys all the honey comes to the top, you just pour it off.

I extract the better stuff in a bowl, as the process is a bit different. But the plates when you think about it, are like a bowl pulled out. they are slightly indentated at the center...

Just put in my scrog screens yesterday with the help of my big brother. The Vortex is just a few inches away from the screen and coming up with 30+ heads, Marley Kush is huge at over 12 heads each, Blue Magoo.... Well blue magoo is still my best plant, a little viney a little octopus looking with multiple heads and stout yet stretching limbs. Querkle is looking like a voluptious lady bush, and I just got my hands on some Kona Gold clones that are giving me hell in my room. Gonna flip the room in a couple weeks and see what happens. Wish me luck.

Next semi new guy question. I'm running some medium level THC plants on next grow. we'll say at 12% area for THC, yet really good CBD and excellent flavor; Should I; (A) Just smoke as regular (B) Dry it, grind it, BHO it (C) Bubble hash the shit out of it

Pleas let me know what you all think
