Looking good. I often keep the MH in for 2/3 weeks of 12/12 then switch to the HPS. Have seen it written on here that flowering isn't fully possible only using MH - then a google suggests you likely end up with super tight nugs. Interested to hear how you get on. Was your intention to only flower with the MH?

I really like 600wMH. I've never used them on their own though......... I have two 400w hps on standby and a 600w hps....... So if I need to put red in there I can!
I believe it would probably be a problem flowering equatorial sativas under only MH. The indicas should take to it very well........

Thanks for the reassurance...... I have thought and been told the same thing. The only bit of "evidence" i can offer to support a larger pot in Hydro is the EPIC root mass I have had on a few beauts on flood and drain and some guys get huge root mass in dwc.
This run will be what it will be........ those are 1Gal/3.5L pots. Next run will be much larger containers and only two plants. I will have some Scotts OG going from seed and high hopes.

That's the thing with hydro, well plants in general really, the more space the roots have the more they will use.
However in hydro you can contain roots into a 3x3 rockwool block and use NFT for example. Major plant support would be required though as they would stand a good chance of toppling over.
DWC is kind of a different ball game though. The bigger your bucket the more nute mix you can use, the less frequent you need to replace, but with no air pruning or pot containment the roots can get seriously huge using more nutes lol.
Kind of like a catch 22.
What I can say for sure though is that root size is less important in hydro.

I'll keep popping in here, see which lights are doing the best for you. My next grow could well have a chronic cross in it too, be interesting to see some quality chronic buds.

Well I grew Double Dutch which was great! Literally the best smelling plant in the room back then....... Hoping Chronic will remind me of it. I'm warned to make sure I give her at least 9 weeks and to cure her thoroughly........ People say don't top her. I tied the main stem to the pot quite aggressively and now has a few more tops!
You put the fear of a poor yield into me with the worry over MH bulbs...... I haven't shivered like that since January! I have a second flower tent coming soon in Oct so I'll wait until then before doing a solely MH flower.
