DETOX!

Whats up everyone. Gotta put some tinkle in a cup for some suits and don't really trust products/want to prove to myself this is something I can do. I'm having a real rough time. It's not so much the not being high thing its more the withdrawl. I can't eat, I can't sleep and feel like I have absolutely nothing to look forward to at the end of the day (pretty important for a slaving student). What am I supposed to look forward to eating supper or something? If anyones been here and has any tips or good OTC drugs for the insomnia/no appetite thing I would really appreciate it. Peace.

antihistamine is good for getting you off to sleep (but don`t get the non-drowsy) i find my appetite starts to return gradually over a couple of weeks. it`s the frigging boredom i can`t stand.:wall:

Melatonin 3mg...

"Melatonin is the all-natural nightcap. It's secreted by the pineal gland, a pea-size structure at the center of the brain, as our eyes register the fall of darkness.

"At night melatonin is produced to help our bodies regulate our sleep-wake cycles. The amount of it produced by our body seems to lessen as we get older. Scientists believe this may be why young people have less problem sleeping than older people.

"Studies suggest that... supplements can hasten sleep and ease jet lag, without the hazards or side effects of prescription sleeping pills."

It may have many other uses and has been reported to make people feel better, strengthen the immune system, and reduce free radicals in the body. Current research is underway to determine it's effect as an anti-oxidant, immno-modulator in cancer, delayed sleep-phase disorders, and jet lag. Tests are still under way so there is much to still be learned about it and its effects on the human body. Travelers and people suffering from mild sleep disorders.

According to the article, a typical comment from discussion groups on the Internet is, "'Folks, I've tried it and it's great. It has ...restored my sleep cycle, given me lots of energy.'" (6 Nov. 1995, p. 60-63)

I use it, and it works awesome! You can get it at the walmart pharmacy... Don't buy anything under 3mg or it won't work for shit. Good luck with your Drug test... Peace

i feel for you, i went through the exact same thing recently. To be honest, I was just really really tired and cranky for about a week, the good news is, thc withdrawals fade quickly, just stick it out, and when it gets real bad, just be glad you dont do heroin

haha somehow I think crack isn't going to help me sleep or eat...thanks for all the posts guys, I'm still going strong despite my raging hangover this morning. I'll pop out and grab some Melatonin, sounds promising. Inneed, you hit the nail on the head with the heroin thing. Everytime I start feeling bad for myself I just think of all the people quitting things much harder than herb and it puts me in my place. Remember the dude detoxing from heroin on Trainspotting? Ouch. Thanks again guys. PEACE

I got to quit for a week every month man(probation) it sucks but it's not that bad. I've never experienced withdrawals, i think that's more a mental thing ur going thru than physical. What i do is i buy a pack of ciggarettes when i got to clean out and since i don't usually smoke it gives me a slight buzz and it just makes me feel better having something to puff on.

Yea you may be right, the sleep thing might be mental but generally withdrawl is definitely not a myth. My personal belief is that personality has a lot to do with it. I used to be a small guy, started pumping iron, gained a bunch of weight (that I would love to keep...nice I know) so not being able to eat really pisses me off. Trust me, I've tried just forcing food down but its not working well. I've already lost 6 lbs. Thanks for the input. By the way issues, the melatonin worked great but I may have just been exhausted from not sleeping the night before. Peace
