The yield question.

people always ask how much will i get if this and that? noobies like myself would like to know, but since its such a hard question to answer, all we can expect is to get an idea. so if anyone is willing just post your results with some additional info like type of weed, light info, veg time, flower time, co2, ph, ppm, type of growing like topping, lst maybe. any info basically used during your grow. mollases??? anyway, lets see some example. oh yeah, and if your too stoned, dont forget total weight dried.

It is almost like saying that you are going fishing at a large lake tomorrow and asking us how many fish will you catch. There are just two many varibles.
You do know if you use two rod and reels, you'll catch more. Or if you use the same bait that all the other successful fishermen are using, you'll catch more.

And along that line, there are ways to harvest more yield.

A big factor is VEG or GROW time, before you enduce the Bloom Cycle. I do a very rapid Hydro grow, with feeder tubes trickling Oxygen enriched water to ech plant. IF I VEG for 5 weeks, I get a much larger yield than if I Vegged for only 3 weeks.

Of course STRAIN, Nutes, Grow System (Soil, Ebb and Flow, DWC, Bubbleponics etc) make a big difference too.

With all due respect, roseman, I think you are looking at the wrong thing. He's looking for comparisons. He realizes that there are a ton of variables to take into account, including strain, lighting, and nutrient values, and everyone has their own unique combination of these. What he's asking for is a small list of the critical systems and various important figures (nutrient schedule, hydro setup/soil, space, ventilation, etc), along with the yield. Comparing the values/yields side-by-side, with enough grows, you could begin to form statistical groupings and see which method is the most efficient in any given set of variables.

it's actually quite a good idea. Exatly like asking the experienced fisherman what bait to uses and where he fishes, as well as asking him to show off his catch for coparative value.

Mate, i hope this is what your looking for. In my 1st grow which was in the roof space, or attic for you Yanks out there. I grew 2 Swiss Cheese and 2 Lowryder all Fem seeds from Nivana. My space was 2 mtres high, 1.2 mtres deep and1.6 mtres in length ( Sorry it's the only way i know how to put the size etc ) I had 1 400watt HPS and grew in 100% perlite, this is what i used to grow in back in Aus about 15 years ago.The reason i use 100% perlite is that is very difficult over water and i can keep my PH under control way easier, and i've also found that it's a shorter grow time.

I veg'ed for 4 weeks exactly using Iguana Juice Veg ( What a product ) and by this stage my lowryders were already starting to flower.. I switched to 12/12 light and Iguano Bloom ( Did i mention a fuck'n good product ) Within another 5 weeks i had 2 Lowryders ready for the pick'n.. When dried i received 1.1 oz off the lowie girls which keep me in smoke until the cheese was ready. 3 months on i had 2 Swiss Cheese ready and a shit load of bud 5 or so oz dried.. I put this down to a few things.
1. A constant room temp, i think that this is one of the most important things to get right.
2. Perlite grow.. To me there is know other way, yes a little more expensive than soil but fuck it well worth it.
3. Iguano Nutes mate... The best in the business in my eyes. I know other may disagree but that makes the world a cool place.

I hope this helps.. Try growing some lowryder with a different strain. I recon it's good to have someting to smoke whilst the other stuff matures, this way you not in to much of a hurry to chop and smoke.

One love.
