imo the bible is only about obedience to god not obedience to the flesh of sinners, this swords thing is just one example, I mean throughout the bible there is rebellion constantly, all the obedience part like romans 13 or whatever are about obedience to god, it only makes sense because that is the whole message doing gods will and that we are all sinners. At least that is what I take from it. If the message was really to be obedient to a state then that was either edited in or the whole religion is morally corrupt, I can't think of any religion that is based on a doctrine of moral corruption bar satanism. Of course there are some affected with moral corruption but that's from humans either on purpose or through misinterpretation and its not the true message, I don't think you could have a cult following with ethically controversial principles, the more controversial the less cult like it would, religions being the pinnacle.

maybe these "magazine clip" things she is talking about can't be refilled? Idk I never seen a "magazine clip", fuck it, ban them. All I have is magazines, who wants a "magazine clip" if it can't be refilled anyway.

every gun I have bought I had to have a backgroung check, nothing new. soo many things wrong.... run out to a stor now and get a gun because they are going to pass a bill on background checks, come on if you run out to the store you're already going to get a background check, nothing new other than maybe criminals won't be able to just walk to a show and pick one up. the whole idea of not being abl to give your kid a gun is bullshit from what ive read close family is not included and by the way if you give your kid a car you need to go out and change over the tags and registration why should it be differant for a gun. noone is saying you can't have one just that they want to make sure you arent a fucking loon. I own 3 handguns 2 rifles and a shotgun and I think people should get background checks and be responsible for that weapon if it is used in a crime.

they just call it in now and have to destroy the evidence in 24 hours, when they pass this you'll probably be entered into a database because it will be through the internet, Background checks are not an unconstitutional registry currently. I don't think you have to REGISTER long guns anywhere, maybe a few states, many states you don't even have to register pistols.

I don't know of one single parent in my entire lifetime where that happened. Most people keep beer in the fridge and liquor in a cabinet somewhere.
